James converts for his sixth, but I think Cesar should've been off.

Magnificent goal.

Wow there are people who think that Germany v. France is more entertaining than this? Yeah, I'd rather watch amateur football for sure over that match. There was no sense of hype or whatsoever in that match apart from the last 5 minutes.
Not exactly what i said but since the current match is like an amateur match anyway, welcome and have fun

Why does Brazil remind me of Germany so much? XD Should they play against each other, I call it the match of disappointing guys who still advanced because of some individual performances.
No idea, i can´t see any similarities

Yeah ah! That might have been even a red card for cesar i think
It was, you can see how he raises his leg on purpose

It's messy as fuck, but honestly from neutral point of view, this one is more entertaining for me. I have no stakes or whatsoever, so take that into account how you will.

Neymar is stretchered off.

Well, Brazil without Thiago Silva and perhaps not Neymar is a much different affair.

After the first half, well deserved. After the second, not so much.
That Brazil in the second half was the mediocre team we've seen during the whole world cup. Fighting like a small team like Algeria, but successful.

Dunno what I should expect. That was more Rugby than Football.

Pretty horrendous officiating, but at least Brazil played well enough to win

I loved this game. Sure, no way beautifull football, but very intense and entertaining.

Both teams being disappointing so far but still advancing somehow isn't a similarity? Really, to me it felt more like stumbling through the tournament for both teams so far.
How is Germany´s performance as disappointing as Brazil´s? We screwed Portugal, had an open battle against Ghana who were physically more dominant, dominated the US and made our first disappointing match against Algeria, which, to a big part, was due to Löw´s wrong tactic at the beginning of the match, second half was ok again. And today, France got more chances but we played it pretty cool and used the advantage of the early lead goal pretty cleverly, just have to use our own chances, especially those of Schürrle.
Brazil in turn was the weaker team against Croatia and scored 2 goals because of the ref while Croatia did not get a legitimate goal, did a good job against Mexico, kicked a dead dog called Cameroon and well, you probably still remember the Chile match in which the latter was the better team but too stupid to use their chances.
Not saying that Germany was the uber team so far in the WC, no denial, but the performance of both teams were still fundamentally different.

We won, perfect match despiste Colombia pressure in the end, we knew how to prevent Colombia resistance.

No comments about the criminal foul at Neymar, it must be red card. Shameful referring.

Brazilian media are supposedly saying that Neymar's injury doesn't look good. He's at the hospital right now.

Yes this was a red card. Should've been red for Cesar too though.

I seriously hope that Neymar will be okay though.

Portugal = Dumb Pepe and weak, we were lucky things went in our favour that easily and early on.
Ghana = Horrible defense and much like what you just described as bad football about Brazil - Colombia
USA: Zzzzzzzzzzz, did something happen? Oh yeah, LOTS of missed shots but yeah, there was that one good shot from Müller which saved the day.
Algeria: Ugh, do I need to say anything? You can't blame everything on Löw
France: Well that was somehow okay, but far from anything impressive.

Don't even want to argue or comment about which team showed the better performance so far, but I daresay they disappointed on an equal level. I'm not saying they are 100% alike, don't get hung up on that, but there's no doubt that both teams were expected to perform better than... this. Really, for all it's worth this could've easily been Algeria - France and Chile - Colombia today.
