As I said, the media too not only Beckenbauer

Dominated the USA ? Algeria ? France ? What domination are you talking about ? And no, I didn't forget about Schürrle's shots target, but I also didn't forget about France losing due to a stupid mistake from Varane, other than that they didn't show much (inb4 the counter attacks, those were when France was desperate enough to score the damn goal)

Of course not, not when their main star isn't around you know... Loss of Neymar = no more Brazil, despite what the haters will say but he was carrying his team alone

With Neymar not around, who would score or even be more dangerous ? Hulk, Fred or Jo ? Just the fact you don't believe any team could've raped Brazil in that state makes it clear that you don't realize the impact he has all over the field...
Which media please? The BILD? Because that is yellow press. EVERY damn country has yellow press. Seriously I'm sick of this Germany = arrogant nonsense.

Of course we dominated the USA: They had one chance. We scored our goal and then stopped completely. Because that was what we needed.
Algerian keeper was the Man of the Match... I guess that was a coincidence huh...? :derp
We scored early against France in this damn heat. After that we stopped most of France' attacks. What did you expect? More attacks while it is that hot? What the hell man...

Of course Neymar carried this team alone. Everyone knows that. But Brazils defense was still the same in every match. They played a horrible cup.
We completely crushed Brazils spirit.

He actually said that he can't remember the last time where a WC final is so predictable and it will obvious that Germany will win
But yeah, I feel your pain anyway...

Add many media to that, who are already celebrating the title, also add what Muller said too... Yep totally humble am I right ? I seriously wish to see Germany lose once more so that hopefully they'll learn the lesson... I guess the people there still didn't learn from the Bayern deal this year
Show me this media you are talking about please. Most people here, including journalists, are fucking scared that our team might choke again. In addition to those, we have so called experts who do not waste any opportunity to crush certain players in the media, where the hell is the arrogance?

Our players showed ambition before the tournament, declaring that they want to win the trophy but nobody, not to this day, has said that they already won, that´s just bullshit (and not something that would be tolerated by Löw or the DFB btw, so much for that). The thing is though, our team, to a significant part at least, consists of the 2006 and 2010 generation that played good WCs but were not rewarded for that, so they are so much more eager to win this (in addition that it could very well be the last WC of guys like Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Mertesacker).

I don´t know where your hate comes from but i literally see no ground for it whatsoever, besides some former footballers who claim to be experts but those are present in every country that has a football tradiiton.

I saw this morning the one from Lizarazu- Djorkaeff - Leboeuf from france. It's almost exactly the same with only one difference: Vlaar instead of Gonzalez.

Yeah Vlaar should be in there, he was a monster. Mascherano definitely deserves a place.

Vlaar instead of Gonzalez like zellogan said, and maybe Rojo instead of Blind and Debuchy insted of Lahm (not that he was bad, but he played like 2 matches as a 4 in this WC).

Fred retires from Brazil's national team. He said : ¨I don't understand, we're a team right? We win and lose together, it's not all my fault."

Problem is, he brought nothing to the team. No idea why Scolari started him every single game.

Still, the amount of shit the Brs gave to that guy is unfair imo.

ESPN was promising that they'd show us the closing ceremonies, but it didn't happen. :(

I understand the choice though, given how underwhelming was the opening ceremony, but here, with shakira, carlos santana, wyclief jean and the locals, it was good

I was not much of a fan of the closing ceremony. They had big names and better songs but.... thats it. There was no big show to it, just a few people dancing.... It feels like the whole thing should have been significantly grander if we consider this is a world cup and the entire world is watching. To some extent I think this was the issue with the opening ceremony too.... Something of this scale should be fucking spectacular. In turn what brazil gave the world is plain lazy (like their last two matches in the world cup).... You'd think something of this scale would at least be as good as a superbowl show....

They barely even showed us the opening ceremony, honestly.

We only saw one moment of the closing ceremony, which was those Brazilian girls in yellow/gold costumes dancing. I'll have to check out Shakira's performance later on. Having Pitbull and J-Lo was always going to be a bad choice, though.

Sounds like I didn't miss that much.

England's Olympic ceremonies were the best I've seen from a big sporting event ever.

Beijing's were nice, but there wasn't the same emotion and history to it.

He was a game time decision, and clearly his thigh wasn't recovered enough to be able to play. You'll recall that he missed the SF with the same injury.

I was surprised that Aguero didn't recover to start.

My expectations were lowered after the opening ceremony.

That makes sense although my train of thought went a little different there. I thought they'd at least try to get it better and it seemed like they were going for that when they replaced pitbull and jl with shakira (let a real latina show them how its done)... But in the end we simply got better artist but the same lazy show.
