That's just going off the fact that there are four BDs listed on Amazon at the moment, so there's still a chance it can be more episodes. I really hope that's the case, since I cannot imagine how they'd reach some of the stuff in the preview in 12 episodes without cutting out entire volumes.

I think if there were more, more listings would have been added since ive ever only seen aniplex not put up all their anime bds on amazon like every other company does. I guess one could hope it gets a second half in like winter season though, if not, this anime could be another rushed job like zetman was...It airs in a few mere hours so we should see how they penned this anime and its direction and pacing.

What a shame, I was looking forward to seeing Tokyo Ghoul anime but seriously, the studio managed to cram in around 120 pages of the manga in episode 1 : Chapter 1-5 with 4 in next episode... I guess I'll just keep on reading the manga. I didn't like the first episode at all. So much stuff skipped and so much unimportant stuff added and dragged on...

Gosh, it feels os weird to see Kakuriyo Monogatari so high up like that... I know it'll just go back to the bottom next week but still, it's weird. Rikudou is heading the way path Boku Girl / Gunjou Senki are : might actually become a big series in the magazine.

This year's 32nd issue of Shueisha's Young Jump magazine is revealing the main cast for the television anime adaptation of Yū Sasuga and Kenichi Tachibana's Terra Formars manga on Thursday. The television anime will premiere this fall.

The anime will star:

Yoshimasa Hosoya as Akari Hizamaru
Hidenobu Kiuchi as Shōkichi Komachi
Shizuka Itou as Michelle
Kaito Ishikawa as Marcos
KENN as Alex
Ai Kayano as Sheila
Daisuke Ono as Keiji Onizuka

Solid cast lined up for it (surprised the mag part is so small for a cast announcement...). KENN is perfect my second favorite voice actor and got into a role thats my second favorite in the series. Love Marcos hope he can deliver, trying to imagine bakatora as his voice is not easy though.

Hamatora's manga takes place before the anime, when it was just Nice and Hajime, and then Murasaki investigating them etc.

? What else would the anime be if the manga is a prequel to it? The manga started two or so months before the anime, both were announced at the same time.

Hamatora is a "multi-media project" where every bit of media is its own part of the story. The anime, manga, video game, play (okay that last one is debatable), etc. should all show different, canon events with the same characters. I think the "main" part is the anime, so the manga is just a prequel that happened to start a bit early to build hype.

Enaga Takabatake's new series, Godspeed, will finally start in the September issue of Miracle Jump (8/16). Going by the title, it should be either a remake or continuation of the Godspeed 0.1 oneshot from Young Jump Seed, which I really, really liked.

Don't think it says what magazine, but the choices are most likely Young Jump as a monthly, Tonari no Young Jump, or Miracle Jump. I was kind of hoping the series would end to stop the Liar Game monthly breaks, honestly.

I posted that here mostly because nobody talks in the Jump X thread and people tend to talk way more about it in other threads like this one.
Winner's Circle e Youkoso was pretty good, from what I read. The thing is though, it's as dense and hard to read as Liar Game is, plus it's full of horse-racing terminology. It's a good series, I wish somebody would scanlate it.

I've read a few, although none of the new series were really interesting enough to read past chapter 1. Mononogatari did look good, although that one was too hard for me to read anyway. This month's new series, Jasmine, is sort of like what Animal Land would have been if that hadn't been a shonen and there weren't any human characters. Just... completely brutal animal kingdom stuff.
I'm definitely looking forward to Godspeed though.
