Adult Gon is so damn huge and muscular... could that rule out that Ging is an enhancer? Uvo was big as hell too. You would think Gon's dad would look similar to adult Gon,but hes like 2 feet taller than Ging. Does this confirm Gon's mom is Bisky? LOL

It doesn't need to be Biscuit, but Killua compared her and Gon's transformations, and there is something about a different type of human in the New World...

Wait, how is Netero going to stomp Pitou or the other RGs? They are absolutely superior to him in every single category, he surpasses them only in experience, his technique with HK is also almost flawless but that's all. RGs are just too durable, Netero hit Pitou but she was perfectly fine after that , she even managed to use her ability to slow her down. How many palms attack would he need to give to hurt her significantly? A Pitou who can heal in a few seconds, all the RGs have more versatile abilities than Meruem. The problem would be to manage to hit him once because HK is super fast but one hit is enough to kill him.

Even Gon-san would have difficulty to approach Netero but Netero still would not stand a chance, he has his Paper attack at long range and can do other things with enough strategy. Even considering than Ging is the world's strongest Nen user there is no way he is stronger than Netero by a wide margin, that kick Gon gave to Pitou would have turned Netero ang Ging into mincemeat instantly. Same for every human Nen user.

I had a theory about that form and training in HXH, but most of the posters disagreed with me back then...

Netero said that it has been half a century since he was the strongest, he also said that he, at the time, was half as strong as when he was at his prime; he also said that Ging is one of the five best nen-users in the world; and there's the fact that there is approximately 10 year gap between Ging and Gon in his adult form (assuming Killua's prediction was accurate). Having all that into account, we can safely say that Ging is way stronger than Gon-san (10-years-of-training stronger).
I don't think that is the case... At least when it comes to nen anyways. Gon's transformation was not the result of 10 years of regular training or even the result of 10 years of training the way gon had been going so far. The form itself has to be way superior to anything gon could ever do by training how he had been going at it so far. The issue here being that gon traded the whole of his potential and life for it. Gon can train insanely for a number of years but would he reach the absolute greatest potential he has? I doubt it simply because gon would be doing other stuff in the process. Like he always has, he would have traveled and do a number of things. I would argue that gon attaining his maximum potential would imply him going into the same level of insanity netero went through to become the inhuman monster he was. Netero spent 10 years doing absolutely nothing but training. There is not an ounce of exaggeration to that, we are literally talking about that time dedicating himself to praying and punching. We actually saw that in the manga. Gon trading the whole of his potential for power should be more along the results of that, not just the training he had been doing so far.

And to be fair, the amount of power gon showed in his transformed state was on the level with netero. All we saw netero do against pitou was a punch. And we have seen how powerful a single punch from netero was, it is strong enough to leave a crater on the ground and fast enough that even the king could barely see it and pitou did not even see it coming. Gon in turn actually surpassed that. Pitou or even his undead superior state did not match gon in any regard. His kick actually wounded pitou and his rock outright killed him. Perhaps killua offers good insight into the situation.
http://www.mangareader.net/207-51370-5/hunter-x-hunter/chapter-307.html
We know how far netero got with 10 years of the most implausible training every... Gon clearly went well beyond that. At least in terms of sheer volume of nen, speed and overall power gon was by all intents and purposes beyond human. Unless there is a human that would spend not a measly 10 years doing literally nothing but training but rather decades... But then, what would be the point of that? A its decades worth of training of which you never get to see the results because the nature of the insanity you go through (which is, nothing but training to the most literal extreme). Ging has a few interesting features to him but I doubt he could reach the state netero got to or the certainly more insane thing gon had going on. In terms of volume of nen and the implication of getting such nen the situation is far too absurd.

I would think netero has a pretty good chance against the royals. Sure, he has an advantage in speed only but the royals are presumably well weaker than the king. Based on what we saw with pitou he could not even react to netero at all, something which meruem could do from the start and got better at through the fight. It might take hundreds of thousands of punches but he would get the job done eventually. I would argue that by the time meruem was beginning the hurt from netero's attacks the royals would be in a more precarious conditions. Also, pitou cannot heal that fast, specially if it is a severe wound. He healed a small wound in a few moments before gon transformed and it took him close to an hour to heal komugi. To boot pitou cannot use his aura while healing which means instant death against netero if he tries it.

I wouldnt say stomp, but he could win

The man kept meruem on the ropes for a substantial amount of time before meruem overpowered him

Not saying it would be a landslide , but it would be no easy match for the three rg either

Id say netero vs pitou

Netero wins 6/10

Netero vs pouf 7/10

Netero vs youpi 4/10

Youpi is the only one i beleive netero would be more likely to lose to than to win

I am not saying he has no chances but they are rather small, in terms of physical strength, speed and durability the RGs are all inferior to Meruem to various degree but they are still monsters. What makes them more special are their abilities, Pitou is the one with the least chances to win, Netero would need to hit her a lot but she can take her distance and heal. Netero's movement speed is not a match to the RGs, she could use her Doctor Blythe to slow her down though, she healed a broken arm and was alive after taking Gon-san's Rock to the head. As long as Pouf doesn't break his body he has higher chances to win than Pitou, with scales + flight, he will able to read Netero's thoughts too. I just can't imagine Netero beat Youpi.

^True, but it's not all about the amount of aura. Ging has years of experience on Gon. And Gon's hatsu is a joke. Ging will wipe the floor with Gon-san. I can't believe you're comparing the two. We know the limits of Gon-san's strength but we can't say the same about Ging.
I never really understood all this fuss about Ging. Does he need to be some demon on a separate level from all the top tier characters in the series? Is being equal or around the same level as any other human character not good enough? So all the top tier Nen users(Phantom Troupe, Zoldyck, Zodiacs, etc) are more or less close to each other on an overall scale. But Ging is the only one that is, for some reason, above them by a landslide? What sense does that make, when he needed to run away and plan hidden attack on some fodder soldiers? Do you realize what would happen to these soldiers if they stood in front of Meruem or Adult Gon? They would probably commit suicide from the sheer Aura of those two. Let alone try and attack them with guns.

First off, Killua speculated that Adult Gon is a form that can be reached after an unknown amount of decades(plural) of countless training. That was his speculation. Illumi, who is much more experienced, speculated that Gon committed himself to a fate worse than death. In other words, it's a power that can't be obtained with just training and talent, it would take someone to walk a downright suicidal path(even more insane than anything Netero did). Ging would, by all means, be vaporized by a single punch from Adult Gon.

We don't know the exact limits of Ging's strength, but we know that it's not great enough for anyone to consider him above Netero in his old age. Going by dozens of statements from all kinds of different characters. And we know that he needs to temporarily retreat against a bunch of fodders with fodder-ish Nen guns. And we also know that he's not respected or feared by any of the Zodiacs, or any Hunter that's worth a shit. And we know that his Nen experience can't possibly compare to Netero's, which wasn't that useful against the overwhelming power of Meruem anyways.

So from all we know, he seems to be a top tier Nen user, but that's just about it. He's like any other top tier Nen user(Chrollo, Silva, Zeno, etc). Not some untouchable monster like Meruem, his guards, or Adult Gon.

Lol.... Demon speed you seriously don't think Netero could kill any of the RG 1 on 1? Are you serious? The RG are strong as shit but they still aren't on Meruems level. The only reason Meruem broke through Netero's attack was because of his vast tactical knowledge gained by playing with Komugi. They show a game board the majority of their battle, because Meruem was simply getting closer and closer with no serious damage overtime.

Pitou would never have gotten close to breaking through and predicted Netero's attack combinations. Even if she repelled from wall to wall to pick up momentum she still wouldn't have been fast enough nor smart enough to ever take a limb off of Netero. It's clearly stated that Meruem and Netero were both transcending their limits in their fight because they had so much respect for each other. Meruem only won because of his unbelievable increase in tactics via Komugi.

We already know that Netero, with all limbs intact, could go on for days and day and days against any of the RG. I'm sure you will edit my post as usual but it's so obvious you loathe Netero it's ridiculous. Netero was a damn beast.. the only problem was that Meruem was a rare as shit final boss.

Netero himself admitted Pitou was stronger than him. Besides we know how both of them compare to Meruem:

- Netero never managed to hurt Meruem. On the other hand, when Meruem cut his own arm, Morel and the others presumed that one of the possible explanations is that he was attacked by the Royal Guard.
- Meruem squished Netero's leg like it was butter, while Pitou didn't suffered any critical injury from Meruem's punishment.

Just because Pitou is stronger doesn't mean he can win, Pitou would never get past Netero's hands speed.

It would go the same way as with Meruem, Pitou would not be able to land a hit on Netero for a while, but soon he would get tired and he would land a hit.

Wrong. Netero could've done it for days and days given his past scenes training. I guess the main part of my post where I specifically say Pitou would never get through was ignored. Pitou doesn't have the same tactical growth as Meruem. Only Meruem was able to break Netero's attacks because of his gain in tactical knowledge from playing with Komugi. I'm pretty sure Pitou wouldn't have stood a chance against Komugi in a tactical game. Pitou wouldn't have been smart and quick enough SIMULTANEOUSLY against the speed of Netero's prayer.

Netero getting tired against Pitou? With all of his limbs obviously intact? LOL yeah right. Stamina and speed is what Netero is based on.

I would argue that is strictly a comparison of their nen volumes though. Which is important but not a defining factor in a fight. Meruem and netero were fighting a battle of attrition which meruem only won because something trivial, the board game, gave him real world tactical knowledge that he could apply in battle in the long run. Meruem did not suffer actual damage however we know for a fact netero did get to a point where he was causing meruem pain. What meruem and netero had was a battle of attrition. It was about outlasting the other, it was about netero hitting mereum until he died (which is plausible with enough hits considering meruem did start to feel them) or meruem finally getting past netero's defenses. In a fight against the royals the royals would have neither meruem's resistance to damage nor his tactical foresight or even his ability to react to the attacks. In the worst case scenario it would be a battle of attrition in which netero would have the advantage. Quite frankly I don't think the royals have the sheer volume of nen to resist netero very long to be honest. In the past I compared netero's single attacks with uvo' big bang which is presumably well stronger than gon's rock. Yupi's nen was estimated to be at the 700000 or more. Hundreds of thousands of hits even at the level of gon' rock would deplete that reasonably fast from what I gather. It might not go that smoothly but it is still not a battle where yupi has any sort of advantage. The biggest problem in the fight is pufu, not sure of how his ability would go against netero.

Exactly. It all comes down to the fact that Meruem exceeded his own limitations tactically. The catalyst was playing with Komugi , a prodigy of humankind, in a tactical game. Why in the hell do you think images of the game board was shown over and over during their fight??

I don't think that is the case... At least when it comes to nen anyways. Gon's transformation was not the result of 10 years of regular training or even the result of 10 years of training the way gon had been going so far. We actually saw that in the manga. Gon trading the whole of his potential for power should be more along the results of that, not just the training he had been doing so far.
If I’m not mistaken, I think you’re trying to say that due to the vow, he was transformed to what he would be like in his fullest potential, what he would be in his prime. If that’s true, then I think we won’t be seeing Gon anymore. We already saw what he would be like if he trains non-stop for decades (It's unlikely that he will change his nen-type, its related to his character). Plus if that was his full potential, I’m really disappointed. I always thought that Gon will be the strongest in the manga, and from what we’ve seen in the manga, post-rose Meruem is still stronger. And honestly, I think that there are nen-users much stronger than post-rose Meruem. He will find a way around his current state and he will be much more stronger than Gon-san, in time off-course.:) Or, the manga will be centered on Gin from now on.

I never really understood all this fuss about Ging. Does he need to be some demon on a separate level from all the top tier characters in the series? Is being equal or around the same level as any other human character not good enough?
Togashi himself started all this fuss. Ging was a legend from ch 1. Do you think it was all for nothing? Think about it, Don Freecss explored the whole east of DC and is probably exploring the west right now, and he’s doing it alone; to all who think I’m overestimating Ging, face it, some people are just better than others. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.:-_-

I am not saying he has no chances but they are rather small, in terms of physical strength, speed and durability the RGs are all inferior to Meruem to various degree but they are still monsters. I agree, Netero himself said that he was weaker than Pitou. But then if you think about it, he was only half as strong as he was at his prime. If he was at his prime, things would have went totally different. Being half as strong as he was at his prime, Netero managed to be a hell of an opponent for Meruem. And he also said that it has been half a century since he was the strongest. That’s why I’m sure there are nen-users that could be as strong as Meruem, maybe even stronger.:hee

I still don't think any of the royal guards could get a single hit on Netero.
I doubt it. It may take a while, but eventually he will die. I mean from what we’ve seen from Meruem’s fight, I can say that Meruem can survive 10 Neteros, but Netero can’t survive a couple of Mereums for 10 seconds.

P.S. I wonder why they went for all that trouble. Why didn't they just give Knov two rose bombs and tell him to place them in the palace and then escape with his Hid-and-seek before they blow up. The mission would’ve been successful without any losses.

I don't think Nem works like that. If you hit someone with 700.000 with a 4.000 attack, his Nem won't fall to 696.000. That's just the requirement for Knuckle to activate his ability.

Otherwise the math doesn't seems to work out for me. Netero said he hit Meryem "hundreds of thousands" of times, and even if Netero attacks were at Gon or Knuckle level it would already have amount tens of millions.

I would argue that is strictly a comparison of their nen volumes though. Which is important but not a defining factor in a fight. Meruem and netero were fighting a battle of attrition which meruem only won because something trivial, the board game, gave him real world tactical knowledge that he could apply in battle in the long run. Yes, I am being very simplistic on this. My point is, Netero doesn't stand a chance against Meryem, while the Royal Guard does, thus they could defeat Netero. (I am only talking about Pitou and Yupi here, since with Pufu things are much more complicated.)

If Netero couldn't cause any injury to Meryem, it would be the same with the Royal Guard. But it would only be a matter of time until the Royal Guard land a hit on him. Even if that never happens, Netero would deplete his Nem while he attacks, meaning that the battle would depend on which side runs out of Nem first. And the Royal Guard wins in terms of Nem alone.

They weren't when Knov was infiltrating the palace.
