So apparently the "big announcement" for Real Account wasn't big enough for it to be announced on the cover, huh. Then again, knowing the series it could have meant there would be a big announcement in the plot itself.

The end of the previous chapter (9) said that this month would be the conclusion of the Dark Past Trial arc and a "big announcement." I really don't know what it could be, but the series is doing very well; it's gotten lots of color pages, an interview with the author, promotional chapter in MangaBox, and even a cover with Friends Games.

No point for transfer to Monthly Shonen Magazine so I think it's Weekly.

I'm not complaining tho, getting real account in weekly doses is better.

Okay now I feel stupid for not thinking of moving to WSM. Still, is anyone else getting the feeling that other than stuff like Attack on Titan, Kodansha really doesn't care about Bessatsu at all? They keep moving stuff from it (and Magazine Special occasionally) to WSM when it's doing well, which I guess could be good for the series, but it just takes away reasons to buy Bessatsu.

...I wonder if there's any chance CR could pick it up once it starts the weekly run in December?

I've commented on that some months ago.

Still is weird, they have been so harsh with canceling series in the early stages as if trying to find new hits... and in the end the ones that feel that could be hits always got moved to WSM...

Yes it is baffling. They have been more ruthless in canceling series than Jump. But I think to myself, why aren't they letting series grow or find an audience? People are reading yhe magazine for SnK. Do they expect to find a series that will increase circulation by that much? Arakawa didn't increase it. And there have been serials in their with potential and creativity. Kodansha is even launchinganother Shonen mag next year.....

IMO Bessatsu was create as minor magazine for WSM at first place(AKA another Magazine special) the success of SnK was unexpected and despite that, Kodansha still didn't treat Bessatsu as their main magazine no matter what.

Plus, Kamisama and Koe no Katachi(one-shot) became more popular after transferred. I guess it better for Real Account if transfer to bigger magazine to grown popularity.

Sales wise it didn't grow either.

Koe no katachi is hard to tell, it was only a OS after all.. and it was quite popular for a one shot if you ask me.
