Publisher Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings (2009-2015)

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

I'm glad with Aoharaido getting a boost with an anime. Selling like Kimi ni Todoke. With the difference it is better.

[Leoat12]

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Kimi no Todoke will have one or two weeks in the chart yet, so it will reach almost 1 million. Aoharaido will still a bit far of its sales.

And with only 2 days of sales. I'm really surprised.

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Too bad we'll never truly know if Haikyuu!! would have fully surpassed Kurobas in the long term for multiple volumes. Short week sales is deceptive for making definitive conclusions, but I guess we'll know next month on the full volume list for the year.

The Yaoi Manga are on fire

Nisekoi appeared above Gintama in all daily rankings IIRC, but Gintama surpassed it by 1k, too bad.
It will surpass in the end hopefully.

If you sum the sales of the Limited Edition Nisekoi sold 25k more than Gintama

Thanks. I looked at the ranking quickly and didn't remember of this detail. So, Nisekoi is above Gintama as expected.

However, the fanbook didn't appeared, that's too bad. XD

Huh, weird Nisekoi drop. Volume 13 sold around 100k more in the first week. Of course, there's the limited edition with the OVA, but that still doesn't explain the missing 75k.

7 days against 3 days worth of sales. All the other jump series are low as well, same reason.

World trigger is falling

Well, looks like it. From 44k to less than 20k sucks in one week sucks. I thought WT would have a good chance to get more than 20k and stay for three weeks in Oricon, but it doesn't. And while the NnT anime already shows an success in sells, the WT anime doesn't do anything. God damnit Toei.....

[SharkBait]

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Kyou wa Kaisha Yasumimasu. Vol.1 live action seems to have propelled it a bit more than the other manga adaptations this season. I wonder if parasite, kimiuso, world trigger, trinity seven, terraformars, will appear.

[101nemesis]

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Terra Formars has all volumes within the top 100. I guess, all it really needs is one great episode to really propel it. The censorship might be its biggest problem though.
