This is the first week in ages that World Trigger has outranked Toriko so I'm not sure how you can claim World Trigger has been enjoying a wonderful performance whilst Toriko has been failing. "Hanging on due to tepid reception of newer series" is pretty much an exact description of World Trigger's entire time in WSJ.The rise of world trigger is truly a better outcome than a planet of the apes. i dont even know what Toriko is doing anymore become borderline to brutal for jump has gone hand in hand with it continuously falling off. Mindbless death and violence is not what is needed in the current ecosystem and its only hanging on due to tepid reception of newer series. I hope he brings back Take-chan and Komatsu.

CHapter 77? Nah, I think the ranking now might have been for 75...or 76 never sure about that. So either next week or the week after we should get the half-finished chapter ranking, but I am pretty sure 75 was the one in this ranks so probably in two weeks. I expect a drop for that one despite its little shock ending.^^Has the World Trigger chapter with the Togashi esque artwork been ranked yet?
That's almost any fanbase. No point in singling WT out, to be honest. It's funny how WT's fans vision about the TOC changes through weeks, when it ranks bad, they say that TOC doesn't reflect the reality, but when it ranks well, they commemorate like no tomorrow. I still have to understand some fanbases... XD
It was the first time I saw someone who contested TOC nature as a ranking though. That's almost any fanbase. No point in singling WT out, to be honest.
Really now? Any series which has a "hype-ish" online English audience always tries to rail against reality. Psyren, Double Arts, etc.It was the first time I saw someone who contested TOC nature as a ranking though.
You are older than me here, you experienced many more things (I don't know how you didn't lose your mind. XD).Really now? Any series which has a "hype-ish" online English audience always tries to rail against reality. Psyren, Double Arts, etc.

I liked both series mind you, but I wouldn't bother deluding myself. The same system gives us big hits we all love as well, so...You are older than me here, you experienced many more things (I don't know how you didn't lose your mind. XD).
From 2011 to now, it was the first time, I think.
Double Arts was a really strange case though, I researched a bit about it... It got cover and a 45 pages chapter and after some weeks it was cancelled. I wouldn't believe either.![]()
I never read Psyren, I'm gonna read in the future because of a recommendation though. Double Arts was interesting, but its pace was mortally slow, it started in its last chapter basically... I'm divided about it because if it had continued, Nisekoi wouldn't have seen the light of the day...I liked both series mind you, but I wouldn't bother deluding myself. I always love how there are people who jump and start talking about things they are not even aware or have even checked for what they talk about. Around a year or something, there was another user (won't mention his name), who was annoyed Toriko sold more in the year sales than Bleach and blabbered the same thing. When I counted the color pages for the last year, it turned that Bleach had more covers and colors for that period, even though it lost its anime in the same period, while Toriko for the same period had new anime season, manga anniversary, games, movies (for which was natural to get colors), yet Bleach got them without that many things to celebrate. In Issue 45 is not year
And not compared 1 series without anime and averagensales (WT) with a series with good sales and monstruous promotion by Sj (toriko).
