The only problem I have with Merlin is that so many male characters are so thirsty around her, that even homosexual characters like threader/slader worship herI bet you guys would have a problem if Merlin made a harem for herself, whereas you'd all be cool with Ban making his own

So it is okay for a man to hit on a woman if she is, or looks, several years younger than him and you guys look for proper explanations to justify it. Whereas, when a woman hits on a man clearly her junior you are all up and arms. Typical men!

The Russian translator that I got the part 2 summary from says Gowther is going to show up in part 3.
It's not really a ship for me, but I like the chemistry between Mel and Merlin,especially in the last chapters. But yeah I haven't really thought about Merlin and Arthur as a potential couple either, that's why I prefer EscanorxMerlin at the moment.

Maybe Fraudrin is secretly a good guy this whole time and only framed the Sins so that they would split up, only to rejoin later and learn to fight with each other as a team so they can actually beat the Ten Commandments!
I think it has more to do with the fact they're so powerful that they really don't worry too much for each other. They pretty much can take care of themselves without having each member helping another(except for those two lovebirds). And let's not forget that they all had their STs back then, so they were a lot more powerful. It's just that if we compare it to the present time when most of the sins didn't have their treasure, it seems that they were kinda forced to work together to take out Hendrickson for example. Imagine what it would be like if Mel or Ban had their STS while they were fighting him, I bet they could have taken him out.It's funny you mention that. Hmmm going all serious huh? Well I have to agree with you. The relationship dynamic between the sins has seldom been fleshed out. Besides ban, Diane, and king who all share either past experiences or similar motivations, there is not much interacting is there? What we have is seven strong people who all to somewhat of a degree respect each other go on missions together.
Well I'm really looking forward to see Escanor rejoin the group and to see his interaction with the sins but it all depends on the time of the day. Well we already know he's in love with Merlin, but I wonder if his day version feels the same way. He looks very shy and not very confident when he's in his weak form, he might even be a crybaby lol. But when he becomes stronger he's simply badass. King and Diane fear that version of him I bet, but is it because he's strong or simply because he freaks them out by making boastful remarks like with Izraf? I expect that form to be more proud and confident in himself . He's also fearless which could get him into trouble.As for the other Sins Mel could be a confidant of some sort(weak version). I bet he respects him a great deal as well. About Ban I can't be sure, it would be funny if somehow Escanor became jealous while seeing him with Merlin. Merlin prolly isn't encouraging his advances, she just treats him like the rest but I can see his feelings being a mix of love and respect, also she might have something to do with recruiting him.
yeah, watching Escanor run around dodging the Vampire's King attacks made me laugh a bit. Tis a shame he was introduced last, could have had some good laughs if he were earlier in the story.Dunno I like wacky characters
