It runs there, so why wouldn't it be fair? Chopperman was a One Piece spin-off in Sakyou Jump and it was selling like the other titles from that magazine, the same for Naruto SD.
Transfers and continuations and the like wouldnt count. I dont think when one talks of say most successful mangabox titles they include shingeki spinoff or that other spinoff there.
Because its kind of clear that a spinoff of a popular series would be a high selling series in these services and that wouldnt present a clear picture of how well truly original series are doing?
But this is a forum not a chamber of commerce.In a commercial point of view, it doesn't matter. Since there are accesses to the site, it doesn't matter what you do there. They put spin-offs there to make the site visible after all... In short, what is important is: money, if it comes, great, no matter where it comes from.

Whoever worried about WT's position, if we count out color pages chapters and the newbie mangas that have yet to reach 7-8 chapters (at least I don't remember any of them hitting chapter 8 yet) then WT is still in 9th place just like last week. No biggie.^^
Well, we can count back 8 or 7 weeks, 8 weeks ago we would have chapter where the Soul King "dies" and if Bach's daddy stuff and a week later we had nothing happen, like seriously the whole chapter was half a recap of the last chapter, so I assume it is because of the Soul King dieing. Now in a couple weeks when Aizen returns you can expect Bleach to hit the top5 positions. XDDD

Well that's the work description tho. I mean, I respect mangaka a lot for the work ethics and not having that much of a social life but that is what they signed up for going in. So i just think he shouldn't be taking so many breaks especially when his series isn't at the right level of popularity yet.
