Because people's taste vary, and as long as the majority of japanese readers are fine with stretching the story it won't stop xD Though recent developments look like it's going Onodera... then again, we just had a massive Chitoge development, only to destroy that at the very end of the last arc. So who knows where this is going this time x'D

Brave Shine is certainly better, but it all depends on the kind of song. Only natural that Hollow Ataraxia would use more calm type of songs, considering that's what it is most of the time, and the theme is something else entirely compared to UBW. Just saying that I like her songs in general, but Brave Shine certainly is the best

Well VN's still are a niche genre over here, even if the amount of people playing them is bigger than you would think at first. After all they managed to gather more than half a million dollar for a western Clannad release xD

Well it's not like you have none. Steins Gate on Vita will come later this year (Grisaia too supposedly) and Danganronpa or Corpse Party are available for the Vita too. Can't judge the latter ones obviously, but at least it seems that Danganronpa was a hit even in the western market xD Anime was rather shitty but I've only seen 2 episodes I believe and it wouldn't be the first time that an anime just does not do the VN justice X
