At the end of the year, we'll be giving some nice rewards for the top 3 artists!

1st place: Badge indicating the 1st place in the year’s leaderboard. Custom title. Profile in the winner announcement. If you have a gallery, it will be sticky for the next year.
2nd place: Badge indicating the 2nd place in the year’s leaderboard. If you have a gallery, it will be sticky for the next year.
3rd place: Badge indicating the 3rd place in the year’s leaderboard. If you have a gallery, it will be sticky for the next year.

So the Best Artist category at the Community Awards will be removed I guess?

I voted for macro cos I love that kinda stuff and it's a more accessible option for me, but I'm just as happy to change my vote if needs be, now that both categories came out even.

aaaaand the theme poll ended in a tie. Hm, good point about the lenses, I was prepared to see software simulated ones and not much extreme close-ups.
I'm thinking of preparing the contest for landscape and later we can return to macro in another contest

Nana is having internet connection problems and with both our busy work schedules, we'll unfortunately be postponing the Spring Art Contest launch until next Sunday. Meanwhile, voting for the Photography Contest will be live shortly.

The Spring Art Contest is now up, it is a special category, actually a combination of categories - Illustrated Writing.
You can check the details in the Contest thread and any questions, as always, can be posted here or if you prefer, pm me.
This will be a longer round, ending on May 10th and the winner will receive a badge for this contest.
I can't wait to see what you'll prepare for us
