Mag Talk Weekly Shonen Jump [2015-2016] - Discussion and TOC Talk

BHA will be 24 episodes I hope. The bad thing is that it need to sell really well if we wont a second seoson.

[De La Croissant]

WT is aired on sunday mornings? That's why it is selling well. The best day for children.

But its at 6am on sunday.

[De La Croissant]

Even better, because as you're drowsy, you will not be able to see all the flaws of the animation.

[Soul Soul Brigade]

A new tennis manga started on Jump+. This one actually has furigana.

Can you give me more informations about it, please?

[Soul Soul Brigade]

Actually the first chapter is pretty good. Here it is. It's a pretty emotional first chapter.

Spoiler

The main character's main motivation is that he's always been interested in tennis but due to his fathers weak condition he has to take care of him. His mother passed away when he was young. His father ended up in the hospital due to a fall. I think his father only has a short time to live, and his father really wants to see his son become good at tennis and see one of his games. The grandparents go and buy him tennis gear and the chapter ends with him playing against some kids he knew when he was younger.

I'm surprised this wasn't put in the main magazine. It's really good in my opinion. I'm gonna continue to follow it since I enjoy tennis as a sport. I never got into Baby Steps due to the art style and Prince of Tennis is just way to unrealistic. Accel Star has a really nice art style and a good story.

I love tennis too! And I think also this Manga!

[RafaFedKilla]

I'm really glad Jump+ added a sports series, especially my favorite sport.

Some corrections on your summary

Spoiler

His mother dies when he's really young, his dad dies while after that but asks his brother to take care of his son and to sell all their belongings to buy the kid tennis gear so that he can play.
The kid ends up living with his aunt and uncle and they give him the tennis gear just before he enters high school (and tell them the whole story)

I was just going by what I could make out from the images lol. But thanks for the correction. It's way more heartbreaking then I initially thought.

Oh nice, Black Clover is actually low this week. Looks like Samon isn't doing well either.

Samon's pretty much dead. Jump is too deep to debut there. I wonder how many series will debut this round?

I knew that Samon would fail, it was generic and boring. If only Nisekoi would be that low, too.
So next week with the start of a new series it's time for Kagamigami and Best Blue to go.

[saef1234]

any idea on what kind of series the new one is? looks like a cooking manga to me
