Black Clover taking that LN route and promoting it's female cast with this weeks color page.
Also, am I the only one who ships Asta X Mimosa? Maybe it's just my dislike of tsunderes.

Also, it looks like Condor guy is re-using the design of his MC from the Jump Next one-shot. Either that or he is just re-writing the story.

Why would one ship Asta with anyone but Yuno or Leo? Its very OoC of him to be with Mimosa.

If the writer went that route, then Rebeca is the only logical het choice.

The MC looks a bit different, like he didn't have that whatever that is on his back. Maybe it is just a rework....

Hope someone gets the raws for it next week. I think that "thing on his back" is a weapon he's holding in his right hand.

For some reason this picture makes me feel uncomfortable. I really don't like Tabatas art when it comes to females.

Black Clover- Look at the time period Black Clover is set in. Most women were having children in their teens (12 to 13). Boys where considered men by 13.

Naruto- ehhhhh, Naruto is set in a fantasy world. Our rules aren't necessarily their rules. They probably don't look down on child ninja's like we would look down on child soldiers.

World Trigger is set on our world. So it should follow the same rules.
Question:
Who make the rules in a MANGA, we can't have child soldiers because it resembles REAL WORLD. Then again, is it SCI-FI genre really do resemble REAL WORLD?
What is Sci-Fi?
Science fiction is a genre of speculative fiction dealing with imaginative concepts such as futuristic settings, futuristic science and technology, space travel, time travel, faster than light travel, parallel universes and extraterrestrial life.
*per wiki because too lazy to search another meaning in another website.

IMO, both fantasy and Sci-Fi are imaginative concept. One happen in the past and one happen in the future.
If anything can happen in fantasy, so then anything can happen in Sci-Fi too.
If in BLack Clover period, 13yo boy can be consider as men, why in WT, 13yo boy cannot be consider as men? Considering WT occurs in the future then the 'rules' can be broken. Human are the one who makes the rules, and there's no way 'the now rules' stay the same in the future.

I'd say that a clear defining line between a fantasy manga and a sci-fi manga is that a fantasy manga could easily just write something off as "magic" and there would be many instances where it would be acceptable. Sci-fi would be written in a more deliberate way with more logical explanations with few things being left "just because."

For a quick example, Trion versus Mana.
A very key element for characters in the universe of World Trigger and Black Clover respectively, yet look at how they are approached from the very beginning. Fantasy and sci-fi share some similarities, sure, but the devil is in the details.

World Trigger is similiar to Assassination Classroom, in the aspect that children have to fight and kill the big bad evil. But what made me continue AC and drop WT was their own seriousness. In WT they were like: "If i don't kill them it's all over!", meanwhile in AC they were like: "I just catched this rocket which was targeted at me, decorated it and gave it pack to the Admiral of the warship which was supposed to kill me. Also, let's talk about your upcoming test."

For me it is the same like Soul Soul Brigade, the child soldier thing was something i didn't like about this "serious" manga.
I read manga to have fun and i won't have fun if i read about how children have to fight against Monsters, risking their lifes and everything is delivered in such a serious tone.

Well, they can bail out most of the time, so it's not really that serious.

Boruto the Anime, with original stories coming at you straight from Studio Pierrot.
Oh man I wonder how many flashbacks are we going to get if this ever came true. Honestly though am I the only one who wishes that the series would just ends?

We could get dattebayo-ed/dattebasa-ed for another decade though. Who wouldn't want that?

The last two movies were enough for me, tbh.

So it is only possible to have fun with comedy manga? I sincerely disagree that WT has this "serious" tone you talk about. Most of the time what worries those kids is just rising the rankings. And that's the problem. WT lacks real threat.

It doesn't have to do anything with comedy, i read manga to have fun and get entertained. For me that isn't possible with WT, but with AC it is possible.
Both mangas have a similar theme with children fighting the big bad evil, but the way how that theme is delivered makes AC a funny and entertaining manga for me, and WT not.
