Done Help with 3 sentences

Hi everyone. I come here once again (you have no idea how much this forum helps me) asking for help with three sentences.

We'd be depending/relying solely on Hiromi's MP

あれ意外とお色気ムチムチ系なんだ
isn't surprisingly voluptuous and sexy?
there's a surprisingly sexy system?
(context: it's a magic that turns the user into a girl, so a guy used and turned into a sexy woman.

一時カビ生えて瀕死でしたけどね
though I thought for a moment you had died when you rotted...
(context: the enemy was turned into a dessert. This is one of the servant's line)

Hi phmoura!

I think you worry a lot about translating everything word for word. That can help at first, but the best thing to do is take a break and a step back and look at the sentence in English and Japanese and think about how someone in that situation would say it in English. Even if they don't use the exact same words or grammar, as long as the original meaning/message gets translated fluently in English.

I just put my comments in bold, hope they help!

How about something using "options" or "version" (the other characters didn't turned this way). Like
"there's a surprisingly sexy version/option?"
or "isn't surprisingly voluptuous and sexy version?"


yes. One of the MC has the power to turn people into candy and deserts. He turned the villain in a desert. He was rotting and the end (it was a gag) and on this chapter, he was back.

this fits the chapter, since the enemy was away for awhile to recover.

I'm guessing you're referring to the word '系'? 'Type' is also a possible take in this case, so ムチムチ系 describes someone who is of the 'voluptuous type.'

Btw 瀕死 means near-death/nearly dead/dying, rather than straight up being dead, so maybe that would help the understanding of the sentence a bit better.
