Buddy Strike was already added to the Jump Comics release calendar. It will be released on April 4th. There is no volume number, which very probably means it will have only one volume. It's the first series to "achieve" such a fast cancellation since Tokyo Wonder Boys.

But who knows, it may be just mind games again.

It's a shame in any case. I didn't care for Buddy Strike, but the mangaka's artstyle is amazing and his/her previous series Cross Manage had some really compelling writing. Sadly, WSJ didn't have the right audience for girl's lacrosse.

I agree on everything you said about Kaito. I love her art and wish her the best of luck on future works, but she needs to recover the charming style that Cross Manage had and Buddy Strike totally lacks. Maybe it would be better for her to make a romcom manga and not a spokon, because she is very talented in conveying the characters' emotions.

Pretty odd considering there is close to nothing pushing Bleach right now, and I don't think it is all that popular.

Can someone tell me about Isobe Isobee Monogatari's situation in the magazine ? I don't see anyone bring it up about it in next cancellation series .

The sales aren't not something to write home about ( I remember volume 8 average ~50k-60k ?) . I know it got a stage play recently. It got a cross over with Shokugeki in 2014 or 2015 i can't remember .

It's a gag manga, which typically don't sell that well. There are some manga that get placed at the back intentionally. Jaguar for example was one such manga.

Buddy Strike getting infinite number of volumes confirmed! I mean how can a manga with such epic characters designs could fail?

Jump+ is doing a thing to celebrate the release of Ana no Mujina Volume 3 by uploading seven of the author's previous oneshots. The first one (Usagi to Kame to Strike, from 2005) is up now, presumably that means the series is doing well by Jump+ standards.

I do find it odd that a certain person isn't completely head over heels obsessed with Ana no Mujina considering the mangaka's involvement with Stealth Symphony.
