Nothing, it's just... i didn't expect the commandments to start showing up on the volume 19 spine, i swear there were more characters we had no seen yet... i guess we are going to get Galan, then Syclla, then Matrona, then Escanor ?

I think that volume has Galan getting owned by Escanor no? So it makes sense he's on it. You can actually tell who will be next because of the left there's the arm of someone wearing armor sticking. So it might not be Mera.
I want it to be Escanor tbh, wearing his armor from this panel

It's also colored light like the one in the spine of volume 19.

Or it could be another demon, who wears a piece of armor, like Zeldris, but it might be too early for him.

Huh if you look at Volume 18's spine, the one with Howzer, there's a piece of Galan's green horn sticking. So the one who should be next to Galan on that pic is actually Howzer.I was looking at it the wrong way lol.

Escanor on a cover for once, I was not a fan of his hair color at first he looks good. I like his armor.

That is one beautiful cover. It could've actually served on its own without Ban and Elaine (no offense to fans) but they play an important part in the events of the volume so they're there. Still, is it just me or is the cover art done with different colours and pens/markers than what Nakaba uses for his magazine page spreads? They always seem more polished and solid. Escanor's hair also has a different hue from what it was last shown in the manga. Not that I mind, the golden hair and golden armor suits him so well. And the blue excellently represents night-time as well, I guess =P

I absolutely love it! And his armor looks quite badass actually, really love the colors.And gold fits him, because of Sunshine.

This cover page is much to my tastes!
His color scheme is actually way more bad ass with Gold and Blue that it is in the anime rendition of Black and Red!
I guess him not being Ginger is a little disappointing though (I'm ginger :P)
I guess the anime will clarify what his final color scheme will be XD

Well gold ranges from a yellowish to an orange hue. And since it can be iridiscent the color changes depending on the lighting.
Here I think it's just an issue of the coloring, like @Yakkun pointed out it could be because Suzuki used different pens, or even digital softwares to do the coloring, and they're not always the same. But I like that he appears to have gold hair, not orange hair per say.
Again it would fit with sunshine quite well. And yes it is his armor from the flashback, but I'm not sure if I like how the chainmail on his arms looks, if that's chainmail.

Either way I really like the colors, they're not too bright, and his scheme (gold hair, blue eyes) is also reflected on his armor. Good job Suzuki.
