We have a separate thread for House of the Dragon now, just in case people were going to watch

Just read that HBO isn't sending early screeners to critics this year. Probably due to the leaks last year. So chanches of leaks are getting slimmer. Those leaks were like crack. I said I wouldn't watch this season but I'll probably end up peaking at it. I really want to see how the Greyjoys get portrayed. Granted, if it begins to look and smell like season 5, I'll bail pretty quickly.
Yeah that's what was reported but you never know.Just read that HBO isn't sending early screeners to critics this year. Probably due to the leaks last year. So chanches of leaks are getting slimmer.
And it's not like HBO is the situation that it needs the press/critics coverage before release. I'm pretty sure the audiences know what GoT is about by now. Some speculate though, that the lack of screeners is due to keeping Jon Snow comeback a secret. I think it's more about the leaks last year. :/

at the differences or if I had read it first and
at the show. Still like them both a great deal though.Yeah you shouldn't have read the books, it will only make you realize how bad the changes in the show are...Honestly I regret doing it, but hey for this season we'll be almost be completely clueless about what happens, yay.I'm almost halfway through book 5 now and lol, well now I'm pretty sure the book and movie are two similar but different stories. Too many omissions and changes
I'm wondering which is worse, reading the book after andat the differences or if I had read it first and
at the show. Still like them both a great deal though.
Anyway, there are 5 books right? If I'm not mistaken, the last book was done in 2011..any idea when book 6 would come out?

Yeah saw that some time ago. Can't say I'm too bummed about it.I'm kinda indifferent to it.I guess screeners being withheld don't really prevent spoilers (minor perhaps, but yeah)

(I hope this is not the proof of 'tyrion is a targaryen' theory)
Book-Tyrion stopped being amusing?"I drink and I know things." At least show-Tyrion's quips are still amusing
I think it came after she spent some time in there.Book-Tyrion stopped being amusing?
On the preview , I'm a bit confused. Is drogo flying around while Dany is captured? Like in the same place?
That's one of them, yeah. But there are countless tales about a "Brandon Stark", so it's unlikely that they're all the same person.Oh I only remember one of them which it says that night's king was a stark and his name was Brandon.
Ha no, but the show has in most respects for me, but at least Tyrion is still funny.Book-Tyrion stopped being amusing?
There is so much brandon in stark family, so yes it is impossible know if his name was brandon or not. That's one of them, yeah. But there are countless tales about a "Brandon Stark", so it's unlikely that they're all the same person.
The Night's King supposedly was the 13th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch and supposedly could have been a Stark as well, yeah. There is so much brandon in stark family, so yes it is impossible know if his name was brandon or not.
Well I thought his name is brandon because we see brandon with nights king and obviously bran is there thanks to his warg powers so perhaps he was, in his human days, a warg too(nights king was directly looking at him). Legendary night king,a stark, defeated by another stark which both of their names brandon, that would be fitting for the end imo. (sorry for bad english, have to write it quickly)
