I think God Serena will win as Natsu after eating the flames of Atlas was able to send Motherglare flying down and Natsu's attacks back then seemed much inferior to Serena's. So Serena will win because of his destructive potency and the slayer advantage.

God Serena has spells that will do damage to Motherglare, but I'd say the dragon can win this with a oneshot.

Dragons can fly, and God Serena has not shown the AoE to take down a flying dragon. Conversely, Motherglare can fire a roar that can level a mountain. God Serena's durability is not high enough to take on Motherglare's roar. The difference in their bodies to take on damage is huge. The physical strength of a dragon is immense. A flick of the tail could send Serena flying. A punch might KO him, and a bite would kill him. So God Serena has to avoid physical confrontations, and he can do this by using his spells.

So in my scenario a flying Motherglare can oneshot God Serena with a roar. If God Serena roars at the same time, then maybe he can stop it. But I'm not sure how big his roar is, and I'm only giving him the level of spells he used against the Wizard Saints.

Maybe dragons got different physiology, like the females got manly voices. Or the men have to incubate the young or something so he is holding the eggs.

Females having manly voices seems to be unlikely since Grandine has very much a womanly voice.

It's not that a dragon is too strong that G. Serena loses this fight. It's that G. Serena is a wimpy 2nd-gen dragon slayer that he cannot beat Motherglare.

To clear up my previous post, Motherglare is not strong. It's only because she is up against a weak enemy that she wins so easily.

In my opinion, the top-tiered Spriggans and the most elite members of FT can take down Motherglare easily.

I agree.If the top tier Spriggan is a Dragon Slayer then they will win.Serena's durability is bad.

I think Spriggan level is a justifiable level in which a dragon slayer would have enough power to slay a dragon, especially considering Serena has eight dragon lacryma inside of him. It's also a bit unfair to say that Serena has bad durability. He has enough durability to receive zero damage from the combined efforts of Jura and the Ishgar Saints. Think about how damaging one of Jura's palm strikes were to GMG Laxus. Think about how much Erza still struggles against Azuma's explosions.

Well in the past Dragon Slayers killed Dragons.I believe they should be on the level of God Serena.

He definitely has a roar. All DS have a roar and even the Lacrima ones.
