Fantasy Motherglare VS God Serena

Well in the past Dragon Slayers killed Dragons.I believe they should be on the level of God Serena.

I've always assumed those past slayers have Dragon Force, so that was what gave them the edge. It remains to be seen in 2G slayers have the force. I do believe it's possible, given they have other dragon traits (lungs, smell, hearing, motion-sickness etc).

I'm not dismissing that Serena can defeat a dragon with his spells, just not sure if he can stick around long enough to win with his durability.

True though I think 2nd gen Dragon Slayers have DF.So Serena out.

God Serena exteme-high diff. He's a dragon slayer that we haven't witness before and Motherglare is just an ordinary one element dragon, he's not Acno. Goddy takes this especially if he has DF

this is fodder stomp even August is fodder to Motherglare.... Spriggans doesent have any feats that is superior or even close, to Gmc Dragon roar or raw strenght... Bradman is good example even Levy was able to endure Bradman's particles...

God Serena fodderizes Motherglare, there is a clear difference in power compared to Natsu back in GMG

Motherglare for me, honestly.

He has superior destructive capacity that has the capability to take out Serena, and considering how Serena fights (attack then tank), he would probably get hit by one of those then die.
On the other hand, I don't think Serena's attacks attacks are out of reach compared to Atlas Flame's that he would be able to the same to Motherglare.

So not only is Serena less destructive, he's also less durable. Not to mention he's less mobile.

I'm going to roll with Serena here. Mainly because if a dragon slayer as strong as God Serena can't kill an average dragon like Motherglare, then it would have been effectively impossible for anyone to kill a dragon during the Dragon Civil War.

This right here. The higher end Dragon Slayers at this point would merk the GMG Dragons. The only one who would be trouble is Atlas due to his hellfire body. But the rest would get slaughter.

Wouldn't Goddy just eat him like Natsu did? Even if he can't eat Atlas he should be able to eat the attacks.

I was thinking in general about the upper tier DS. GS and Natsu shouldn't have trouble with Atlas given their Fire DS ability. The other DS like Laxus, Sting, and Gajeel might due to his Hellfire.

Oh my bad, I misread your post.

And agreed on Sting/Gajeel-tier Dragon Slayers, though Laxus should be able to beat Motherglare IMO, his speed should be high enough for him to dodge any attacks.
