Nakayama Atsushi is looking for assistants for a new serialization in Young Jump. (I kind of wonder why he's always looking for male assistants, but that's neither here or there.) This is interesting news, since he seems to have disappeared from twitter completely. Glad he's alive, apparently.

Well...yes? But if a willing female assistant who's able to draw well wants to apply, why limit yourself? Ladies draw manga and are assistants too. In any case, it's not a big deal, I just noticed that whenever he has a call for assistants he always specifies that they be male. It's his series so he can ask for whomever he wants.

No, I mean that the announcement is saying that Nakayama Atsushi (a male) is looking for assistants. (Who can be male or female) Since many mangaka use fake names and their gender is not always known, I though this was specifing that sensei is a male. ( maybe because there are female assistants that don't want to work with males or stuff like that)
