I pick Jellal, although I don't think it would be easy for him as Marde took on both Natsu and Gray, with Gray having a slayer advantage.

Where exactly are these 2 fighting? If they are fighting on Cube Mard Geer can one shot Jellal with Alegria since Jellal can't dodge it even if he's flying...
If they are fighting in a normal battlefield I can see Mard Geer still winning since Memento Mori is an insta kill for Jellal, plus he generally has better speed feats...Mard was able to keep up with three Dragon Slayers in his base form and Jellal was only able to hold back Cobra and Racer for a short amount of time and even then they began overwhelming him..

I give this to Jellal, before timeskip i would have picked Mard Geer. Unfortunately one of FT's downfalls imo is what it has done to how we view villains like Mard Geer and Hades. From a narrative perspective i would have much preferred they both be at least as powerful as the one of the Spriggan 12, but that just does not seem to be the portrayal Hiro wanted sadly. Time skips can be a problem i suppose...

I can't really see any way Jellal would be troubled whatsoever, so I'd say Jellal takes this easy diff. With him having far greater attack power and speed, and also likely having better defense than Mard Geer, it really is Jellal's fight to lose.

MM is long cast spell. And has not much aoe. For Jellal it is nothing. But Mard and without MM is strong enough for fight

They are both intelligent -- Mard might be more intelligent -- & incredibly versatile fighters. They both have chances at victory. They both require some prep to summon their strongest magic -- which is more than strong enough to wipe each other out respectively. They are both fast -- Jellal is probably decently faster due to meteor arts -- and they can both take a beating -- Mard more so due to his durability & demon anatomy. Honestly, I'm not sold either fighters really have a significant edge on an aspect of combat that the opposition can't respond/counter with his own style, and thus I'm unable to decide the outcome of this battle in a decisive manner like I could the Natsu vs Serena match-up (a match-up where you could mainly compare the fighters DCs of the two fighters).

The reason why I think Mard Geer surpasses Jellal in feats:

Attack: Jellal = Mard Geer
Jellal's Grand Chariot and Sema may be stronger than any attack from Mard Geer, but Jellal's attacks take a lot more time to cast. Mard easily matches Jellal in attack thanks to spells like his Rose Explosion which barely takes any time to cast.

Obvious. Mard Geer could block attacks from Sting and Rogue just with the palm of his hands. Not to mention that he can change the direction of a spell as well.

Jellal was pushed back by some unknown attack from Neinhart while Mard Geer could take on DF Natsu and DeS Gray at the same time.

Speed: Jellal > Mard Geer
Jellal's Meteor gives Jellal still the ability to surpass almost anyone when it comes to speed. But Mard Geer is not far behind, since he showed us his speed is high as well.

Pretty obvious, though Jellal is still a good strategist.

Spell diversity: Mard Geer = Jellal
Don't think this feat would matter in this fight anyway.

Though Alegria and Memento Mori are a lot more powerful than Sema and Grand Chariot due to hax.

Alegria and Memento Mori, nothing else to say. This is the reason why Mard Geer will win this, which seems pretty obvious to me.
