If you haven't noticed this arc is about enemies with hax powers,which can only be overcame with in certain matchups(similar to Sayla ,only Mira could win against her,because she wasn't affected by macro).

If it weren't for Ultear anyone from the FT-alliance would have lost against her,same goes for Brandmann,Jacob etc.

Bluenote was considered the second in command of GH and stronger than Ultear.And Zero was defeated by bit of energy Natsu took from Nirvana Arc Jellal.Not even GMG Jellal leave alone Alvarez Arc Jellal.And Natsu in his Base state alone was able to match Ajeel by casually destroying his Ant Pit.And his sand storm will be useless against Natsu as he can smell his way out.And one FDK Demolition Fist in FDKM is enough to defeat Ajeel.Same with Wahl.Wahl will lay down with his chasis destroyed by FDK spell.And Neinhart can't bring Mard Geer.It is more or less clear that he can't bring Mard Geer.By saying he can bring Mard Geer without any proof is not right.He could have brought him against Erza or Gray but couldn't.Same with Silver(though i don't know the reason)he could have brought him against Gray.

Natsu's mere aura evaporated the lake which itself is a mountain level feat.Not even his real attack even which is far more impressive than any Gildarts's feat.So currently Gildarts has only hype nothing else.So unless Gildarts shows more feats he should be classified as GOI level Mage.

Gildarts destroyed a mountain by ATTACKING. Natsu evaporated a lake simply by BEING THERE. Go back and read the chapter, the water was evaporating BEFORE he used his attack on Jacob. There's a big different between feats caused by attacks and feats caused by someone's aura. Generally the one caused by the aura is more impressive. And who cares if Natsu's magic is meant to melt things? You seem to forget that the same thing applies to Gildarts. His magic is meant to destroy things (things like, oh, I don't know, a mountain -_- ), so I could claim the exact same thing about him that you're trying to hold against Natsu.

Brandish is far from the weakest S12 she could literally blow peoples brains out, give them cancer, make a pebble an Island, make simple scratches severe injuries, or burst peoples hearts all by a simple thought. The weakest S12 is Neinhart.

There's no reason Natsu wouldn't be able to land at least a few hits on Gildarts. If those hits are FDk spells, they should take out Gildarts in the same fashion they took out Jacob (who should have even greater magical power than Gildarts).

The GMG stadium can literally house a city. Natsu melted the GMG stadium, and his attacks can light it up. The War God Ikusa-Tsunagi is about 1/3 the size of the city he was standing beside. Natsu blew him up. If Natsu used the attack on the city itself, he would likely destroy a large portion of it. Natsu is city-level.
