Between Kuroko no Basuke and Haikyuu!, which series was more successful before the anime and after the anime aired? In term of volume sales before and after?
I'm guessing Haikyuu since it has an anime after 2 years, as oppose to KnB 4 years? Thanks in advance.

After The Anime, Haikyuu destroys Kuroko, Haikyuu is a 990k seller, I think Kuroko peaked at 850k, and the final volume sold 750k in a year, so Kuroko lost a good bit of fans....

I don't understand why Jump Giga led with Shiibashi's series. Yeah it's a name, but the manga was not that good. Yuu Miki seems to have changed his style a bit, I remember the first Roggy chapter being so fluid with sharp lines. Hime Doll mangaka series was pretty good. Loved Sahara and Ringo. Wish Sapporo was not destined to be a mini.

Shiibashi is the only artist in the magazine that actually had a successful series in wsj (Tsukuda is only writing sapporo)

also, Illegal Rare flopped but it sold better than some of successful series zumou, straighter up, samon, kimetsu... so it's fair to assume he have a dedicated fanbase that will buy the magazine if his name was attached on it

How do you think that would immediately and long-term impact Jump?
What kind of changes do you would come to magazine in order to deal with the sudden loss of their flagship mangaka?

I'll put Platinum End to Weekly, then I will get early retirement . One Piece volume sold as much as 3 heavy series in Jump right now ( Haikyuu, My Hero Academia, Shokugeki no Souma/Bleach). In the long run, it would be really bad. It will be the same thing post-dragonball period, where people stop buying the magazine weekly. Better run off than get the boot from the higher up.

That's it from me, no more one shots.

My favourite was Hakobi ya Maruko loved the little robot, Masato Mori really cleaned up his art from Zombie Karo.

Undead and Kempa Trick are quite likely to feature in the magazine soon.
waiting list for WSJ is too big lol.

Tenjou no Aruwandou needs to be serialized and it needs to destroy Black Clover. This is not the generic fantasy manga Jump wants but it's the generic fantasy manga Jump needs!

I think Toukyou Kigotanpou was ok. It's not bad. It has a Mushishi vibe about it. Of course sense it's mostly words I can't confidently make a solid opinion on it, but it looks cool.

Haikyuu! deserves it. I just started Haikyuu!, it's great. Really good realistic sport manga. However, is it just me or Haruichi Furudate is not good at drawing facial? The characters in Haikyuu look the same, just with different hair.
