A bit anxious to see how Volume 2 fares in sales since its a manga i have found very good.

Kimetsu no Yaiba is one manga that i think could be nominated for the Taisho Award this year or next year(if its still running).
Eh, I think KNY is decent, but not THAT good.
The world feels pretty small and like it wasn't quite planned out enough. Part of me wonders if the managaka expected this series to get cancelled and planned to use the system and use the series as a Jump trial run.
Maybe he didn't expect it would become successful and now he's stuck with it when he might have a much better manga within him.

I quite enjoyed Kimetsu no Yaiba but from what I read I can't see it going that far the art was not a problem for me in fact I liked it
The mangaka has a long way to go but he is an exciting prospect and I think he has what it takes to make it. I do sometimes wonder what Jump has in plan for Kimetsu no Yaiba it obviously won't be a long running series.

Didn't you also come to the conclusion that Ghost TIts was awful and poorly written and would never catch on just from looking at the raws?
Look at Black Clover and all the generic light novels published by Kadokawa. Something doesn't have to be good for it to be successful, and since "good" is subjective, I can still say Yuragi is awful and poorly written.

Have you actually read Ghost Tits by now or are you still just judging it by the cover?
I don't know how anybody can say it's poorly written for the type of series it's trying to be.
It's funny, and the diverse cast characters are all given time to shine.
Plus the mangaka is good at setting up things to make us question the direction the series might take.

I hate the ecchi/harem genre. It does not appeal to me. Does that answer your question.

No matter how much you tell me that Yuragi is good, I will never feel the same way.
It shows that you aren't looking at the actual strengths of the series and are just talking trash about it because you don't like the genre.
This isn't like Black Clover where there are obvious flaws to be picked out, you are literally lying about a series you don't read and calling it shit as a declarative statement simply because it's not the kind of thing you like to read.
What next? Is Straighten Up! poorly written because it's a cute series about dancing?

Are there obvious flaws to Black Clover, or is that just how you see it? Opinions, how they are such wonderful things.

Yes, there are.
The writing structure is incredibly weak and lazy. It can be fun if you turn your brain off and just look at the pictures, but from a writing standpoint there are plenty of very valid concerns against it.
Taste is subjective to a large extent, people like what like and dislike what they dislike.
It doesn't mean that there aren't criteria you can use to tell if a certain series does what it's trying to do well or not.

Ok Mrs.Superior, would you mind educating me on this criteria. Could you perhaps provide a list? I would really like to see what you provide. Hopefully, it's not your opinion.

It comes with experience and consuming lots of media.
A simple comparison of My Hero Academia and Black Clover is really all that's nessasary.
Both are generic series, but look at how My Hero Academia's use of tropes is done in an original or at least interesting way, look at how it uses and builds up side-characters, look at the structure of arcs and how things play out, look at the attempts at world building.
There's all thought put into it. Everything fits into the universe.
Black Clover just throws a bunch of tropes at the wall and has all the characters scream and shoot out magic attacks until somebody gets a power-up and Aster or Captain Cool is able to deliver a finishing blow. Cue in somebody realizing that ASTER IS MORE THAN JUST A FILTHY SLUM RAT and we can call it a day.
Tabata literally treats the audience like they're children (or even worse, he's a manchild himself).
The writing on whole is on par with late game Fairy Tail.
This is a new manga, not even at its peak. People shouldn't be comparing to something as laughable as current Fairy Tail.
If
Licht ends up actually being Vengeance
then I don't think I should have to argue about this anymore.

Yuragi is actually a good ecchi series. Obviously the level of writing won't be there because of its genre, but the cast of characters are very enjoyable and that's what ecchi series needs in order for it to succeed. I hope it becomes the next To Love Ru. As for Black Clover, yes there are literally examples of bad writing to explain that aren't related to personal preference

I'm done. Nice opinion, maybe I'll consider it when you provide some facts.
Maybe I'll consider yours when you read Ghost Tits.
Then again, once it becomes a supernatural battle manga you'll probably be all over it.

That's a pretty biased standpoint. The same can be said about Black Clover.

If you enjoyed the first chapter of Promised Neverland, here: http://www.shonenjump.com/p/sp/1608/neverland/
Jump released it on Jump+. It's a site that has character sketches and iphone/android backgrounds of Promised Neverland. It also links to the mangakas previous one-shot, Popii no Negai.

Why would I be all over Yuragi if it became an action series? I said I dislike the ecchi genre. I dropped Enen no Shouboutai because of the constant fan-service that kept interrupting serious moments. I don't like Black Clover either, but I recognize that's just my opinion. Nice assumptions mate.

You know what I meant.
Well what you meant doesn't hold up to scrutiny.
Black Clover reads like a parody of bad battle manga, it literally is this gif but with better art.

Something like MHA is an example of how to do a generic battle shonen correctly, Black Clover is literally fan-fiction level on the writing front.
It's a shame too, Tabata could be crank out some really cool looking stuff if paired with a decent writer.

Its kinda dumb to call things generic anymore. Pretty sure every battle shonen from here on out is gonna have same kind of played out formula. Execution is just what people should look at. Who cares if said MC got bullied as a kid and was granted powers, did it leave an impact on you in any kind of way?
