I actually wonder whether Hawk is his self-insert in the story. You probably have seen how he draws himself with his author-avatar? It's this pig-head with beard stubbles. So I wonder if Hawk who always acts like he know's it all and is allmighty is supposed to be a self-ironic insert of Nakaba himself. XD

Dunno why each time an author wants to draw something menacing or color the bad guys , he colors it in red, or dark violet/purple.I guess it doesn't do much for me.

But I guess the cover does convey the danger that awaits Mel.

I was watching the raw version for episode 1, looked at that and noticed Albions, Dolor, someone who looks like Liz!

Sure that woman is the Elizabeth Meliodas fell in love with. You can see the 2 original Commandants on it as well the massive one with horns and the small doll like one. The female Diane lookalike appears again maybe she an ancestor of her?

Lol, maybe the ancient Diane is Dolor's little sister and she will have less of an important presence for the plot but more so for some people as characters?
What if her name is Rhitta for example? Imagine how much mayhem that would cause if Dolor got angry at Escanor for naming his ST after his little sister who is "dead".

It kind of looks like all the races fighting out in the picture with the humans sort of stumbling into the middle of it XD

So we have Gloxinia, Dolor, the puppet Commandment, the giant horned Commandment, on the left side there's also the bearded Commandment, a goddess-Liz, some other goddess warrior, the red-haired giantess again and on the upper left half a fairy. The rest are common clan folk from the other races and two albions.

Is it me just me or are they all raising their arms towards what it seems to be the Sun ?
Is that "Sun" the represantation of the Magic Power which all the clans were once fighting for ? ( as stated by Monspiet)

I recall some making a theory which says that a large portion of that magic power was given to Escanor ! If my interpretation of this image is correct, then this tends to consolidate that theory !
