Wilhelm van Astra is the definition of badass and loving. His love for his wife, Theresia van Astrea, went beyond the boundaries and he went and avenged his wife's death by killing the White Whale in an epic fashion and I'm sure all Re Zero watchers know how badass and epic his scenes were in the past few episodes! Not only that, but he is a gentle and kind and caring person by nature towards everyone, smooth and charismatic and is very loyal. Plus, he looks stylish, awesome, epic, fabulous, hot, you name it!
He has all the husbando qualities you require, what's there not to like about him?

Well... it seems like i'm gonna be the first to nominate a not-anime character... I'd like to nominate Snow Villiers (From Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2 and L.Returns)

I thought about the perfect husband and he just came in my mind. Snow is the perfect husband. I mean... the guy had his fianceé taken from him right after he asked her to marry him and he passed through a lot of obstacles to get her back even if it seemed impossible. The guy spent 500 years of his life trying every single day to save her, i said 500 FUC**** YEARS!! Fighting day after day to get her back. And like it wasn't enough, on his journey, even being depressed he kept a smile on his face, and helped all those around him in time of need. What a guy right? RIGHT?
