Lmao the only reason why people aren't saying anything about Natsu vs Gildarts anymore is because we've already had this debate many times in the past and it's just the same arguments over and over again from both sides. Don't u have anything new to argue about?
No, people like you can't refute anything I've said. I need to repeat it because clearly people seem to forget whose the strongest character in FT.

What are you saying?
I said Gray won't die because he's a MC. Gray crafted Demon gauntlets and started pound him in.
You brought up the fact that Invel said his divine raiment will freeze anything. I'm saying that's an exaggeration because Gray can break the raiment with physical force and Invel wasn't frozen over by Gray's ice. I have no idea where the part about the MC comes into the conversation.

And yes, both Gray and Invel creates armor pieces that they fight with using this type of ice.

Why would Gray freeze Invel? He literally has the divine ice armor on every part of his body.

People like me? You mean everyone else except you? Because I'm pretty sure no one else shares your views on how strong Gildarts is. No one bothers arguing about this topic anymore because you don't care about counterarguments. You ignore things. You skip over things. You twist things. And you're extremely rude. Honestly it's a miracle you haven't been banned yet.

The divine armor was broken by the time Gray started attacking Invel in the 4 panels you see to the right. You can see Gray landing multiple hits on Invel. He wasn't covered in armor.

The conversation is within the last page. You brought up how Gray how Invel said it can freeze anything. You also suggested that Gray would be able to use divine ice in attacks like ice make silver. I pointed out how Invel was likely exaggerating. Gray was able to break the ice with brute strength, and Invel wasn't frozen when he was hit by it. I also pointed out that neither Invel nor Gray has used this divine ice in the method you suggest. They've only used it to create armour pieces they hit with. Neither of them have shown to just cover someone in this ice, let alone freeze over any significant portion of landscapes.

I was arguing that Natsu is stronger than Gray when it comes to raw power, especially attack power. Natsu is at the point where he can oneshot most Spriggans with a solid hit. Gray can overpower them with multiple hits, but he's not at the level where he can oneshot them. Even if Gray has ice with the properties of Invel's divine raiment, Natsu has flames with the properties of Igneel's flames.

Natsus flames are not as hot as the fire dragons kings. That would mean if he launched an attack, his flames could be felt from miles away. Cana said it felt like if the sun has fallen.

The only reason Gray wasn't frozen instantly is because he's immune and he's an main character. If you noticed when Gray was punching the armor, his body was beginning to freeze and crack. And he did it in one punch, by simplying pushing harder he broke the armor. He did not go for another swing meaning he's really strong.

Natsu uses his flames to increase the strength of his punch. While Gray uses his pure strength combined with nothing else. He used the gauntlets to make his punches harder and seeing how Invel is a God Tier ice user, his unaffected by the ice so the only damage he's taking is physical ones.

Invel wasn't even seen and froze all of Natsus attempts to ablaze the surrounding area. It's like he has a ice aura that freezes things on its on. If Invel fought Natsu in FDKM, Natsu would be destroyed. Invel can literally spawn ice out of thin air and hit his opponents. He could probably hit Gildarts with those attacks if he doesn't get blitzed from the start.

Cana's statement is anime filler only. Again, Cana was likely exaggerating when she said it was as hot as the sun. In any case, FDK mode does allow Natsu's flames to be felt at a great distance. It was able to vaporise a lake, and Jacob recoiled from the heat as Natsu approached him.

Gray wasn't frozen because he overpowered the ice with superior brute strength.
Natsu is a main character too by the way. He's arguably the main character.

Invel is not immune to damage done by ice. Gray hit Invel multiple times with zero longsword, and it damaged him. Gray's ice increases the physical damage he can do. It doesn't even look like the last hit of Ice Devil's Zero Broken Fist was a physical hit. It looks like it just zapped him with a dose of devil slaying magic like what happened to Doriate. In any case, Gray took multiple shots at Invel throughout the course of their battle (at least 2 from Zero Longsword, and 5 from Broken Fists). Natsu oneshotted Neinhart, and basically oneshotted Jacob.

It takes active effort on Invel's part to freeze something. Otherwise people like Brandish would be frozen as she walked through the snowstorm. Invel attacked Natsu when Natsu wasn't even aware of his presence. Natsu probably didn't know how much power he had to use to melt the ice. Natsu has the means of melting Invel's ice in base mode, and it doesn't seem like he's expended much power in the effort at all. His flames in FDK mode are much hotter than what he can achieve in base mode.

You can see Grays body literally being destroyed by the armor. Invel didn't fight back, if he had then Gray would've got beaten. If the mere touch caused Grays body to crack and freeze, if he punched back and used attacks he would've lost.

FDK spells are just an upgraded version of his iron fist. I wouldn't be surprised if he busted out all his moves like he did with Laxus but with FDK. He'll probably do that on Acnologia, seems fit. But I still yet to see proof that Natsu is on par with Igneels flames.

That was just the ice covering Gray's body cracking. If Gray's body was actually cracking, he would be covered in cuts.

Fire Dragon King spells uses the same type of fire that Igneel does. Natsu might not have as much magical power as Igneel himself, but he is able to create the same type of fire. His attacks won't be as powerful as Igneel's, but the type of fire is the same.

Natsu is at the point where he can oneshot most Spriggans with a solid hit.
Where is this coming from?
Do you honestly believe all the Spriggan 12 members have pathetic durability like this?
Dimaria tanked hits from a Dragon Slayer in Dragon Force and from a God Slayer using her Third Origin
Bradman took several hits from a Dragon Slayer who had changed the properties of his body to match Bradman's own magic particle body.
I don't get the basis for this ludicrous assumptions?

Why are we talking about its limitations on Brandish exactly? She hasn't used it on Brandish and the topic is Juvia Vs Lucy. Brandish has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Because if we operate under the assumption that Angel is logically way less durable than Brandish, then I don't see how Urano Metria is a big threat to Brandish. Taking into account Lucy's growth here ever since the O6 arc; even if Lucy improved enormously, Brandish is also enormously superior to O6 Angel. Urano Metria might be her top spell, but it isn't taking out a spriggan; I hope she shows something that might take out one.

Command T - Reduction ---> Compresses the attack into portable size.
Command T - Magnification ---> Magnifies/Expands the attack back to its state pre-reduction.

I don't see any difference in size. If anything its smaller, there was a area larger then Tenchi Kaimei covered in water after Lucy's whereas nothing visible after Brandishes.
Maginification might expand the attack to its state pre-reduction, but it also can maginify anything to any size. As you very well know, Brandish can enlarge herself, or Happy, or Natsu's head; it's heavily implied she can do so with an attack too. The images told me that the attack Lucy tanked was bigger than the one she threw at Brandish, but I might be wrong. As you well mention the area covered in water was already rather large pre reduction so you may be well right here.

I recall Lucy taking attacks every fight (such as Jacobs punches). Juvia rarely shows us durability (due to water body). Lucy has always had high durability and endurance for her weight class.
Yeah, I don't deny Lucy having top-end durability, but I don't recall Juvia's being necessarily weak; especially because of water body, which is immune to many things, and I consider it part of durability/defense.

The mere fact that Juvia and Gray committed suicide shows that they still had the abilities to control their bodies to various extents.
Throughout their fight, I didn't get the feeling that they were being capable of controlling their bodies, and hardly their minds at all. I saw them serious and going all out. My impression is that at some given moment they gathered their wills and took advantage of that moment to commit suicide. Also, I might be wrong but that was my impression.

Fodderizing? I recall Gray actually having the upperhand up until Ice Lock came into play.
Well technically, in chapter 497 things don't go too well for Gray as Invel shows he can attack faster, and stronger. First of all Invel prevents Gray from attacking and attacks first, thing which Gray didn't expect at all, and is sent at great speed towards a wall (which he destroys upon impact), then he takes 6-7 attacks in one same vignette and Gray is clearly overwhelmed both by Invel and by his cold, which is actually managing to affect him.
In the next chapter we see a Gray who can hardly attack, only defend; and an unfazed Invel by Gray's ice attacks, which can be broken easily by the spriggan.
It is only when Gray goes DeS that he seems to hold the upper hand; he attacks Invel and the attack effectively lands (he puts a scratch on him and makes him bleed). However, it is then when Invel gets more serious and can undo Gray's spells and redirect them into what seems a blizzard.
So, I don't see where you see Gray having the upper hand really.

I don't see anything unusual about Gray when he beat the crap out of Invel other then being genuinely bloodlusted. Being bloodlusted doesn't give you a power-up like Second and Third Origin would, it just rapidly heightens your abilities to their limits (note that it doesn't make them surpass their limits).
The unusual thing, IMO, is that there's such a difference between a 'regular' bloodlusted BASE Gray and a DeS Gray. As I pointed out in my explanation of the battle events, even DeS Gray couldn't take on Invel, but when he saw Juvia died, then Gray, even in base, was so superior to the spriggan that it does not make much sense to me, especially considering that bloodlust should not necessarily make characters phisically stronger, or with stronger spells, only with higher MP and pressure (although I think it's been implied and even mentioned over times that feelings=power in Fairy Tail, so I'd understand Gray got a power boost to defeat a spriggan but not to massively overcome a spriggan). I do believe Gray surpassed his limits with his rage, but again, that was my interpretation.

Nope, this being FT doesn't change anything. Unless you could find me where its stated that PoF literally gives you more power then you ever had beforehand the fact that emotions don't physically change your innate abilities stands.
Not in such exact words, but I recall some characters, maybe even Erza, saying feelings = power. Or maybe it was Mavis during the GMG. I don't know, the thing is, we all know PoF = powerup of the like of Second Origin, though maybe just temporary. You can interpret that it boosts one's abilities to their limits or that they surpass such limits; but it's the same with third origin: does third origin allow you to surpass your limits, or does it only boost your powers to your potential limits? Both would be correct, since Chelia's powers were boosted A LOT by means of TO, but then again, she only managed to get the power she'd eventually have in a future.

No its really not the truth and certainly holds no place in this or any other debate. Juvia hurting Gray is bad writing and inconsistent so am I to just disregard the feat entirely.
It is worse writing to me that Natsu can oneshot a spriggan or that Gray can go from being overwhelmed to being massively superior in a matter of a chapter, that Gray and Juvia could trade blows makes a lot of sense to me because otherwise they would've been incompatible to train for one entire year together if their gap in power was too great.

Not only was Gray a decent amount stronger then Juvia prior to the time-skip but you cannot assume that they have the same level of progress either. Gray is quite clearly a far more talented individual then Juvia so it stands to reason that his progress would be proportionally greater.
It was safe to assume growth ratio had treated the main cast the same way, but as you well mention one can't simply assume so seeing as Natsu can now casually oneshot spriggans. Even if base Gray is one tier above Juvia, they're still on a level where they can fight; and the result will be exactly the one seen during their battle: Juvia can land some blows, but eventually Gray will easily defeat her.

Also he did not fodderize Invel. Its very important to keep in mind that he had a natural resistance to Invels magic.
No just no. During the first part of their battle, Invel was toying with Gray, easily defeating any ice creation or any blow Gray tried. When he awakened DeS, he took Invel by surprise and managed to attack him once; after that Invel was on guard and Gray was powerless.

Then, Gray defeated Invel with a LOT of ease, unjustifiable ease if you ask me. Gray had natural resistance to Invel's magic yet Invel was managing to affect his body temperature; similarly Invel had resistance to Gray's magic, seen when he undoes a spell in DeS mode and creates a blizzard off it.

I mean, can you prove otherwise? Cause I could prove that his MP and magic spiked, but I don't see any evidence that anything else did. Your going for the unreasonable explanation when we actually have a reasonable one.
No of course I can't prove otherwise, it's just my impression and interpretation of things, I respect yours as well. Your "reasonable" explanation doesn't work for me because it's reasonable according to your own standard and interpretation of things.

No, thats absolute intangibility. They most certainly don't have that. They exist in space so they can be hit by energy attacks. At one point I even recall Gajeel hitting Bradman with a headbutt lol.

Water Nebula made direct contact with Keith and sent him back, though it wasn't powerful enough to defeat him.
I see, yeah you have a point here, but then Juvia couldn't harm him with attacks like water slicer, which doesn't make much sense to me if he's not absolutely intangible.

Not after her feats against Brandish (arguably even, at the very least temporarily, overwhelming her in CQC). Thats besides the point. Brandish is no doubt proficient in CQC but it was never stated that she was a monster at it. Her being vastly above someone who prides themselves in CQC (and is actually strong) while herself not having CQC as a forte is a luxurious assumption I'm not willing to give to Brandish. I think her being just above Lucy in CQC is completely reasonable (and quite frankly, what she has shown).
Lucy never overwhelmed Brandish in cqc... Also Lucy does not pride herself in cqc, Lucy is not Erza. She's improved, yeah, but she's never been good at cqc, the most she could do is lucy kick, now she's good at it but not proficient IMO.

I don't understand the Bradman underestimation (I actually have him as one of the weakest Spriggan at this point but still). If anything CQC is actually one of his fortes (that and versatility). He was able to spar equally with Gajeel in CQC and is overwhelming Rogue despite being a historia. He is actually one of the better Spriggan in regards to CQC, only beaten out by Wahl and Jacob.
I actually think of Bramdna as stronger than the average here; but cqc is not his forte tbh. Gajeel was doing much better even in base, although he couldn't just touch him.

Which is completely and utterly false lol. If that was the case he would even defeat Acnologia via attrition. If the magic attack is solid/thin in nature then he can probably avoid it. However an attack that is of the nature of something like a roar is unquestionably incinerating him.
No he wouldn't because of NLF, but really, water slicer was not cutting Keyes. Your assumption is very valid, I don't think he's got absolute intangibility either, but still it's better intangibility than 90% of characters can probably fight.

Yeah thats what power inflation does to our power scaling. I mean, Pre-TS Mard/Precht were top-tiers whom were only weaker then Acnologia/Zeref. Now with the introduction of the Spriggan we have got like 4 new tiers and the two are only above average.
Yeah, at first power growth disorientated me but then I managed to grasp it. As little sense as it makes, what can we do about it.

Though to be fair, Warrod did kinda hint at this when he said that he was insignificant (pretty big word, a lighter way of saying fodder) in PL outside of Ishgar. Granted, he is a support type, but was still rather impressive for the time. If Hiro plans to do more after this arc I wouldn't be surprised if we get introduced to characters who bridge the gap that Acno has made even more. We are only looking at two countries of the entire world afterall.
Yeah but then again we fall into the same argument: why are 12 mages of another continent superior to the strongest mage in Ishgar? Does Ishgar have an innate lack of talent/potential? And if there were an arc where another continent is introduced and there are mages who can make the spriggan look like kids, then again, what's wrong with Ishgar? Is it a weak continent for any reason in particular? Bcs not even the one appointed as the strongest mage, Hyberion, could even keep up with a spriggan.

Invel said I and quote 'This armor can freeze anything it touches instantly'
And gray can use ice make with it. Meaning he can use ice make silver with the same properties of ice as Invels.

If you're ranking by magic power your list is correct, however if it's who's going to win the battle, then Dimaria can melt all of them. Did you see what she did to Brandish?imagine her Take over + time stop= melt
You've got a point but Dimaria's magic ain't gonna work on the likes of August or Irene by means of NLF. Similar to how Brandish's didn't work on Enhanced fodderheart.

Well I've got to disagree here. With Jacob, Natsu held back for a lot of the fight but as we saw once he was serious it only took one attack in FDKM to do a large amount of damage to Jacob. Yes, the fight had some plot involved, I won't deny that but one serious hit is all it took to put Jacob away. Its basically the same with Neinhart. This time Natsu hit him twice, but only once was a proper magical attack which didn't even have a name. Clearly from what we've seen, Natsu is on a Spriggan level when it comes to attack power like that. Sure, the Spriggans he's fought may not have had the best durability but he's still been able to put them away with a couple of serious hits which you cannot ignore. If Jellal is considered Spriggan tier because he defeat Neinhart with a charged Grand Chariot, then why isn't Natsu considered Spriggan tier when he literally defeated Neinhart with two punches?

Not at all. Considering the type of damage Natsu can do and the type of attacks it takes to bring down the Spriggan 12, a solid hit from Natsu with would take down most of the Spiggans (excluding August and Irene, and probably Larcade as well). Any FDK spell, or even some of Natsu's higher end base spells would do the trick.

Natsu basically oneshotted Jacob. Lucy and Loke did negligible amounts of damage to Jacob, and Natsu had to hold back immensely when they were fighting in the guild. If he wanted to he probably could have punched Jacob through the wall the same way Makarov did, but that would involve damaging the guild. Natsu's body heat caused more damage to Jacob than any of the hits I just mentioned. Demolition Fist easily did the vast majority of the damage.

No amount of denial is going to trump canon. Denying that Natsu is a Spriggan tier is fairly counterproductive at this point. He's taken out 2 Spriggans now, and in both cases did the vast majority of the damage against them. Refusing to accept what happened in chapter 500 is not a legitimate counterargument to anything. Erza didn't oneshot Kyouka. She did, however, beat Kyouka blind and deaf. Erza > Kyouka.

Wendy in dragon force is weaker than base Natsu.
Chelia isn't much stronger than Erza imo. She beat Dimaria due to her slayer advantage.
Bradman was killed by Gajeel. He got owned.

Ignoring Third Origin? How cute, so is TO Sherria still weaker than base Natsu?

Yes, and he wasn't taken out in one hit, could Natsu take him out in one hit like you implied in your earlier post?

How am I ignoring 3rd Origin? Yes, Chelia in third origin takes a metsu-kami ogi to knock down Dimaria. It's literally a spell that takes up all the magic she will ever be able to use in her entire lifetime. Natsu is taking down Neinhart in 2 hits, and then challenging Brandish to a fight. The effort that goes into taking down a Spriggan level opponent for these 2 are vastly different.

The fact that Wendy was completely shut down by Bluenote and couldn't even move and the fact that Natsu can oneshot Bluenote while holding Chelia up by her shirt. Or the fact that he has better AoE. Or the fact that he has taken down a Spriggan level opponent. Two actually.

What Gajeel did to Bradman was overkill. He was killed in multiple hits. I'm saying Natsu would knock him out in a solid powerhouse hit, like with demolition fist or FDK roar.

She wasn't even in DF when that happens, that already debunks your statement
