They are already changing? Jump GIGA had 4 four editions! Well, at least this time I will be able to say that I had one, maybe it will become a rare item? :P
Anyway, what's the point change the name of the magazine, but the content is almost the same? Really, there was no substantial difference between Jump Next and Jump GIGA and there will be no difference between GIGA and X now, I bet.

EDIT: I really liked the new series by the way. It was funnier than I thought it would be. I hope it continues like that. XD

Well, they did say from the beginning that Giga would only be four issues. X will probably just not be monthly again, maybe bimonthly like Next but with more series.

If Black Clover is really getting consecutive Cover and Lead Color pages, that is some next level pushing. I know the new order manga are being pushed like hell (as stated by shueisha themselves) but the editors must be desperate now if they are pushing this hard.

My guess is that it's getting an anime announcement in 49

I would have guessed that they would wait until Jump Festa to announce the anime as that would have a nice flow. But it should be noted that it still only has 82 chapters. Even if that is enough for for a well paced 2 cour anime season, I wouldn't rush it or else we might end up in another Heroaca situation where the first season gives it a boost but not an explosive one as Jump probably hopes for it to have.

Well deserved especially with this epic Asta Power Retrieval arc.

Please let it get a multi year naruto length weekly anime. I need anime Dorksta.

Love Rush performed as tragically as I expected. The writer should have had male classmates fall in love with the lead then it would have been different and popular. These manga dont survive without one to three male best friends.

Because it's not a coincidence for these 2 chapters of SnS to place this low if the ranking is based on fan-votes. I can see why.

I wouldn't panic atm but I won't say to brush this off as some coincidence either. I already said it before, Soma has started to reach the bottom this year and it is worrisome but not to the point of panic.

No lmao. That was a misrepresentation used as a defense by Bleach fanboys to explain Bleach's rankings.

The anime's sales are already abysmal too. I wasn't a big fan of season 2 as I thought it was very inferior to the manga, maybe because it rushed shit. It wasn't animated that well; relying on little animation but that's a different rant/issue.

Like stated before, I wouldn't really panic because regardless of its rankings, the fact remains that its volume sales are still at 400k. That isn't something that the magazine can lose anytime soon, whether that is next year or the year after that, as very few of the new series are even selling in the 100k range.

I do think however, going off of Oda's comment, that even if the Editor-in-chief decides the placement, it will probably be close to the actual fan questionnaire results. Excluding, new series, for series with at least a year of serialization, it would make no sense if the series is consistently ranked in the bottom in the questionnaires but its placed in the front of the magazine, at least from a business standpoint.

The manga still sells pretty well and one the better selling series in the WSJ. Also, the editor-in-chief thing moves stuff based on what is the most interesting. The early chapters of this fight aren't that interesting

Look what happened to Hitman Reborn! It was selling even more than Soma ever was and it got rushed/axed because of it's poor rankings. Rankings are very important.

I don't see Jump randomly axing Soma though. Thankfully lol

Last cover Clover got was early March for it's one year anniversary and it always got back to back CPs for every volume release except the last one.
With how it has been ranking since March I expected it to get 2 more lead cover pages by 2017 but I never thought it would get them back to back.
