Just found out that the upcoming jump ryu manga making documentary is about Togashi
my body is ready
my body is ready
I cant wait for promised neverland to go battle mode.Ending blurb from the new Ghost Tits chapter has me thinking the series is also (along with Samon-kun) beginning the transition to battle manga.
That's nice, now why did both second series do considerably worse? Also a 3.0 isn't particularly "good" either. Nichigo originally was scoring anything between a 6-5% of the share when it was on Saturdays, 00 S2 is the highest rated show on the Sunday block and it did a 4.4 which is still considerably worse from the first season but still good everything else has ranged between 3-2% since it ended. Don't see anyone making a big deal about how IBO is the lowest rated Gundam anime on the block or how Nanatsu went from the top share to the lowest one in the block's history and IBO S2 ain't off to a good start either but apparently a show that did better than the previous show and the ones that came after did subpar not just audience share dropping out of the timeslot gradually which is now even happening to Dream 9 where One Piece has now dropped to 6% where before it was also in 7% which before it was in 8% which before...and you get the picture.NNT season 1 had strong ratings and that wasn't 8 year ago.
Arlsan Senki season 1 also had good ratings and that also wasn't 8 years ago.
Code Geass R2 had a 2.66. So why the hell is that considered good while a 2.45 is considered subpar? Its even more concerning when R2 was the first show on that block since the transition.Brotherhood is from 7 years ago so is Code Geass 2R
So almost a million share viewership drop is considered normal when we know that's not the case because even with 00's transition between season its ratings share drop was nowhere close to being that huge. We're not talking about that because you don't have anything to say about a show going from 3.69, the show you bragged about btw, dropping to a 2.0 the lowest ratings on the block thus far if only a year and four months after the first season ended now did Nanatsu no Taizai suddenly become unpopular within that spam or did the ratings share drop considerably since then? Which seems more viable?its a second season.
Second season has drops its normal. Also those are the 4 special OVA ratings for NNT the drop is big but we aren't talking about that.
What the hell are you talking about? We're not veering from the subject. I'm telling you in general that ratings share in general for Japan has dropped considerably in recent years that also includes Nichigo.since Nichigo was created those are the ratings of the shows. (the average)
We are talking about Nichigo here.
Still didn't answer my question brah. Why is a 2.66 considered good while a 2.45 isn't? Why is it considered subpar when most of the ratings from that block are within that range? Why is it considered bad when its done better than all the shows that's ended and premiere this year? These are simple questions man that have nothing to do with MHA but ratings share in Japan so are you going to answer it without quoting trolls from 2ch and yaraon like you always do or are you going to pull a Wolf King and make outrageous claims like what he did towards Toriko's ratings? Its sweet that you love bashing others series but is so quick to protect MHA.

Bones made second seasons for much less successful shows than MHA, which are adaptations of much less successful show. MHA would have needed to be an epic flop for them to consider bailing out, even more so since MHA is the type of show that Bones loves. If MHA was a flop I think Bones would have bailed from doing a second season. It clearly wasn't a mega success, but it was successful enough that the president of Bones promised more season and a significant enough rise in manga sales
Not so much that but for over a decade there's been a steep decline in TV viewership across the nation hence why shows that use to get double digits on a weekly basis are now in the single digit, hell the only show that is still getting double digits is Sazae-san. Make no mistake ratings still very much matter but you'd seldom see a popular show get canned if ratings up to par or even be deemed a failure...if merchandise sales. Naruto ratings have declined since its hayday and it stop cracking the top 10 for a few years now but then you read an article stating that its TVTokyo's highest selling property and suddenly everything starts to make sense. But merch tends to be inconsistent, a show that sold high in its first year can drop like a rock in its second; case in point Toriko in its first year had strong merchandise sales that sharply fell in every year after it, Dragonball merch during Kai was at a decline but after the success of Battle of Gods going into Super its been on the consistent rise even if Super is doing worse than Kai ratings wise (Kai's ratings averaged between 9-10% which was considered "OK" back then). Is JPN immune to tv ratings being down like in other countries in the western world or something?

Now to be fair it might have been planned from the get go but given the time gap in-between (at this point its going to be an April) its a second season rather than a cour split, luckily sales wise it did OK compared to their recent works in fact the studio has had a series of hits since last year so its not a flop and yeah it did its job. What we really need to wait for is how it does merch wise since they started making figures before the anime even came out we know the game didn't fare well (it was a shovel ware) but the card battle game is another story, if HeroAca can make a killing in merch it'll be gold much like AssClass it didn't have strong BD/DVD sales but it made a lot of money in merchandise and the live action adaptation was a huge success as well.If MHA was a flop I think Bones would have bailed from doing a second season. It clearly wasn't a mega success, but it was successful enough that the president of Bones promised more season and a significant enough rise in manga sales.
Do I think MHA will ever hit the 1Mil per volume range? No. But the sales are slowly rising each volume still, and I think they'll continue to sell a tiny bit more through season 2. Not a huge jump. But in its peak I think it'll hit the 600K per volume mark
Still waiting for No.6 season 2 and BLast of Tempest s2Bones made second seasons for much less successful shows than MHA, which are adaptations of much less successful show. What is being discussed here is that it might have flopped to its expectations, not as an Anime.

The Tempest anime adapted the entire manga, there's nothing left other than the last volume which is all side stories.Still waiting for No.6 season 2 and BLast of Tempest s2![]()
THey need better planning for that, remember waiting for weeks to months for the final episode?ason 2 of Academia seems to be planned from the get go. Bones could've easily went with it a Blood Blockade Battlefront S2 instead. BBB is one of their best sellers in a very long time.
(except Promised Neverland).
