Red Sprite had the first chapter good, was a mess for 7~8 chapters now I'm kinda enjoying the new character... I still don't know my feelings about this series...

They decided to make the last episode twice as long because of how popular it was, but the networks schedule what airs months in advance so they had to wait until there was actually an open slot long enough to air it.

They did have spots available before when Bleach and Nisekoi ended, but this time they don't have any apparently, so I doubt.
They should bring Yuragi, it would make me save some yens. We know that the excuse that it is "too hot" doesn't add up. They brought Shokugeki when the profit was hotter than the series. XD

Amalgam is my guess. Spring Weapon, maybe, unless love rushs replacement will be compelling.

Thinking about it Jump came out with some decent additions this year with Kimetsu no Yaiba, Ghost Tits, Neverland and hopefully SW1(Spring Weapon Number 1). The thing I like the most is that they all add some variety to the current Jump line up. I do not rate them that highly, but I did not include Red Sprite, Love Rush, and Amalgam of Distortion solely because I am not confident in their survival.

Things do not look bright for Love Rush and I somewhat understand why. Excluding the latest chapter, the first chapter was probably the only time I was genuinely interested in the plot. It would be surprising if that twist in chapter 10 wasn’t meant to set up the manga’s conclusion.

Even with it’s bland art I honestly expected Red Sprite to do so much better. The declartion of war showed some ambition and I liked some of the ideas the mangaka was going for, but the pacing ruined everything and I think things could have been very different if the time skip was handled properly.

It is too early to say much about Distortion but my opinions on it are pretty mixed. Starting on a positive note I think its a better love story than Love Rush with it sharing the same concept with the main character’s love interest being his best friend but kind of more interesting. It also has some similarities with Red Sprite with the main character being a test subject, I think the thunder cores are more interesting but Amalgam of Distortion’s ayakashi cells could be more versatile and creative. The reason I dislike Distortion is the same reason I expect it to get the axe and that is edge. I think Jump will only allow a manga to be that dark if it was actually interesting, but sadly for Distortion it is pretty boring. I do not think he had any other option but I liked how the mangaka handled the third chapter things should progress more smoothly now and potentially improve drastically, but probably not.
