So it looks like Love Rush is ending? Cant say im surprised or sad. Spring Weapon is pretty unique so far and it does give off the vibes early WT did. Theres still no direction so it will be interesting to see what kind of story this will become. i cant see these 2 chapters ranking too higly though, its nothing particularly impressive. Amalgram is pretty boring. Only positive is the whole bone thing. Just thinking about how long it would take to draw some of the bone structures in this series is making me sick lol. How quick this can get into the action is key i think.

I still think Neverland and Red Sprite were miles ahead of the rest in regards to their first few chapters, But Red Sprite is paced too fast (but also too slow? No real developement of anything so far). It has a cool concept, but its losing my interest fast. Latest Neverland chapter was nice, but a bit predictable. Next chapter will surely have some nice thinking involved.

On the other hand, Toriko's ending is fast approaching. Ive always said I thought it would end at 400, but i struggle to see it lasting another 8 chapters after the last chapter. It could end in 2-3 even at this point. Plus there's the predicted Gintama ending announcement (which seems even more likely from the latest chapter) and possibly Isobee's (which could very likely be something else random though).

They did have spots available before when Bleach and Nisekoi ended, but this time they don't have any apparently, so I doubt.
They should bring Yuragi, it would make me save some yens. We know that the excuse that it is "too hot" doesn't add up. They brought Shokugeki when the profit was hotter than the series. XD
Yeah but Shokugeki isn't that bad to get the shrink-wrap tag.

Yuragi would really need/force shrink-wrap (cuz nips slip) and I'm pretty positive Viz's Shounen Jump series do not have Shrink Wrap.

On the flip side, they might bring it when Yuragi gets an anime in the future. If by that time and they haven't pick it up, it has no chance.

Can someone explain why we don't get to see all the volume covers at once? For example, we only saw OP/Bleach/Gintama but not SnS. I'm looking forward to SnS the most since I believe Tosh said he worked extra hard on this cover in the WSJ author comments.

Why would Viz need to shrink wrap it when they could just put it in their VizSig imprint?

Well, I don't have patience to wait for anything, so I will buy in Japanese then.

I really would like to see Viz Jump demography though, if it is somewhat similar to the Japanese one (I think it is), so there shouldn't be any problem having a hotter series or two in the magazine...

It didn't happen in the past, but I think Jump editors are kinda lazy recently when it comes to this cover preview...

Because we are talking about publishing it in the magazine, to follow weekly, not outside.

To me Red Sprite author is like Kurumada... lots of good ideas but stupidly poor implementation. Destined to fail.

We can hardly call Kurumada a failure of a mangaka... Sure, most of his series may have been failures, but at the same time; not many mangaka's have had three successful series in Weekly Shonen Jump and created one of the most popular worldwide manga franchises period..

Soma writer made a twitter post talking about the recent low rankings, I think he's talking about how he knows the readers haven't liked the recent developments very much but it's something he felt he had to do anyway (my japanese isn't perfect though so I might haven't gotten a bit wrong).

It doesn't say anything about it ending on 400. The whole post is just speculation.
Even though it makes a lot of sense to end on chapter 400. Toriko volumes usually have 9~10 chapters and current chapter is 392:

Volume 41 (370~378) (last released volume)
Volume 42 (379~388)
Volume 43 (389~400)

If it does not end on chapter 400, it will need one more volume. It does not make any sense if you take in account the progression of the story.

Then I dare to say it will end on chapter 400.

Well, yes he had to address the recent points eventually. I am glad he acknowledges the readers don't like recent develops, so I hope that means we will move on. (Probably will since most of the fight will take up a volumes on its own).

Either an in-depth explanation of something or a public exhibition of art or goods
i mean i know the definition of the word. But i never heard that term used in an announcement for a manga. Usually its "Manga enters new arc", "Manga ending", ect. But i've never heard of an announcement for Exposition

Maybe it's an explanation of why it's ending or what's next for that author.
It could also be some sort of event for the JP fans

Well I guess it's safe to say both Red Sprite and Love Rush are 100%, without a doubt, getting the axe now
