Asta is poor man's Hinata from Haikyuu
I'm not sure what consistent quality your talking about because the past 3 arcs have been pretty bad. Hopefully this upcoming one can improve but it already ain't starting so hot. It won't get canceled because it is just pure fun and enjoyment and most readers don't really care about quality. I don't root for Black Clovers cancellation. In fact just the opposite. I personally love battle shonen and I'll always have a bias over it compared to other genres. My dteam situation in the near future would be One Piece, BnH, Black Clover, Galaxy Gangs (if it ever gets the nod) and some other manga becoming the pillars of Jump and recreating the new era. But it's pretty unlikely. So I root for it to succeed naturally.Black Clover isn't going to be cancelled before ch 200 folks, this isn't Medaka Box we're talking about.
Also changing into a more serious in-depth series with long arcs would probably just hurt it in the long run. What makes Black Clover work is that every chapter is written to be fun in it's own right, there's always at least one cool/memorable moment each week and if it starts going for a more future-looking style it could lose that.
Sure it's unlikely to ever be a massive magazine-carrying series but it's a safe generic series that stays very consistent in quality and gives its fans what they want and expect (like Fairy Tail), that's something Jump needs right now with all its long time battle shounen mainstays besides One Piece either gone or ending very soon.
Well if you get Brad Bird in on the project is want it to be animated tbhY'know, out of all the Jump manga that have been talked about getting a Western live action film adaptation, I really think My Hero Academia might just be the best suited.
What's hugely popular in US cinemas?
Superhero movies and young adult fiction.
My Hero Academia as a film series could be like Sky High meets Harry Potter.
Get Brad Bird behind it and we'll have something truly special.
Or, what's more likely, it could end up as another Dragon Ball Evolution or Avatar by Shyamalan.Y'know, out of all the Jump manga that have been talked about getting a Western live action film adaptation, I really think My Hero Academia might just be the best suited.

Dragonball Evolution doesn't exist. In fact, Dragonball never got a live adaption movieOr, what's more likely, it could end up as another Dragon Ball Evolution or Avatar by Shyamalan.
