This is the first time in like 8 months that Black Clover is out of the top 5.

Next week should be even lower.

Its only there because the editors want to give freshman series a chance at the top. I can assure you BLack Clover will be very high next week.

Bad rank for Amalgram. The raws do look a lot better for recent chapters, so we'll see how this pans out.
Straighten Up is in 7th! Looks like the newbies are such fodder Jump isn't planning to can it for a while.
Awesome, another colour for Neverland and it's in 2nd!
Black Clover is in 6th and this was the chapter with the LN character. Glad to see it didnt keep its high position.
And Shokugeki's back in the game! It was the chapter when they were cooking I believe. Surprising it shot up while this arc is still in progress.
HZ's chapter was just after a big fight and pretty boring so its an acceptable rank.

To be fair, 186 had the following:

- Strip Tease
- Erina/Soma flashback
- "Thanks, Hayama"
- Soma being a badass

So it was a good chapter.

That was probably Amalgam's best chapter if it ranked that low then I don't have any faith that the next ones will do any better. Next week is Spring Weapon's turn I want it to survive I enjoyed the first 3 chapters.

Can't rely on scrubs to survive some veterans need to come back, like Tamura and Fujimaki and maybe Iwashiro.

Looks like people really liked the Neverland chapter with the color page and the escape plan date, which is good as that was a pretty cool chapter.
Yuragi should rise next week as this week concludes Hibari's arc, and should get a middle placement w/Yaya's chapter.
Shokugeki placed decently this time, but might fall again next week. After a few weeks, it should start to place well again though.
Straighten Up! has finally left an arc which many readers found boring (tournament not involving the main characters), so it's good that it's rising again.

Would be funny if Spring Weapon suddenly jumped to the top from its low early placements in contrast to Amalgam suddenly jumping to the bottom from its high ones. I wonder if one of the editors is a big Amalgam fan.

9 months, actually. And I wonder about that, One Piece won't rank next issue and there's this fact that Varus mentioned.

- It's also the first time in 9 months that MHA is out of the top 3 in consecutive issues.
- First time Yuragi-sou is in the bottom two issues in a row.
- First no-bottom rank for Sesuji since Issue 43 (2 months ago).
- In that same issue, Soma had had its last top 5.
- This is the highest Neverland's rank so far. Btw, that will be its 4th color page in its 18th chapter. Only MHA, BC and Zumou got the same amount and just Soma and Haikyuu got more (5). -speaking about 2012 onwards-

Neverland at #2 is great! Well deserved. Amalgam being ranked so low is expected. It has cancellation fodder written all over it. I'm really curious to see how Spring Weapon does.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that's indifferent on Demon's Plan after the Mangastream upload.

Demons Plan's first chapter was okay i guess, better than both Spring Weapon and Amalgram imo, but I didnt think much of either of their first chapters. It doesnt have that first chapter fodder feeling, but we'll see.

It has the potential to be as big as BLeach. What other manga in the past year has had such a finely crafted 1st chapter?

With these new Jump series, it's gotten to the point where I'm almost tempted to just hold off on reading them until I see the first ranking. Anyone else have a similar feeling? Why bother getting attached unless you know for certain it'll stick around for a while?

Neverland, IMO.

You and me both. I've not feeling any of the new series post-Love Rush and Red Sprite. Spring Weapon is alright, but I only see it as fodder since we already have enough comedy series in the line-up. And Amalgam never came of as impressive to me since Day 1 (and the edgyness is half of its flaws).

And I must be the only one around here who found Demon's Plan meh instead of "10/10 New long running series potential". Some aspects of it screams "Owari no Seraph" to me, even down to the relationship between our main heroes (if Carlos remotely counts as one anymore).
