Jump Festa has been a disappointment. It's been a long time since they've announced some great One Piece figures. They've been releasing Matsuena inspired trash. Disgraceful.
Im waiting on Kekkai Sensen. I think we should get a PV for season 2 today.

Something that would be nice is a Beet the Vandel Buster reboot, the old anime went into filler after ch 25 and now there's over 50 chapters out with a new arc coming next year. Could even work as 2 cour going a bit faster through the content the old anime adapted (like FMA and HxH did), then finishing up with the Baron arc that just ended.

I would like a new Beet anime only when we're 2 years before the manga finishes. Right now we've had 2 monthly chapters each3 months so at that pace within one or 2 years a complete reboot start to finish should be amazing. 1 or 1.5 chapters per episode for such a manga would be good.

I'd love to see that Shaman King remake come to fruition. Perhaps in 2018 for the 20th anniversary?
Even more-so hoping Takei starts up a new Shaman King sequel in Young Jump.
Despite the flaws, I love the world and characters Takei has created.
Also, Shaman King Flowers was going really well before Takei decided to axe it himself rather than move magazines. Series was the highest selling series from Jump Kai so clearly there's still interest and demand for the series, and now that Takei doesn't have three-four monthly manga on his plate he can probably take on another weekly.

Wouldn't be all that surprised if we got a proper adaptation of Neuro within the next few years, given how hot Matsui is.

If we were going to get a Slam Dunk remake it probably wouldn't be till 2020 for the 30th anniversary.

Hello people, i am new to this thread, so please teach me how to quote people for discussions.

To quote Scruffy8642 and savethecat, and others:
""Studio perroit?! Hoho Prepare the Fillers Boys, if they ruined Twin Stars, they likely gonna mess this up, especially if they going for the "50 eps" run. Heck i dont have much faith in Black Clover being good overall buts lets see...""

bUT IN tWIN sTARS, i WOULD HAVE TO WAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIT FOREVER to get to know the fricking Guardians already. In the anime they get more screentime. Also, the Sae stuff was decent. And some people say that most of the fillers were suggested from Sukeno himself. How is that ruining?

Also, if it was a faithful adaptation, either it would be a shonen most people would despise because the manga has A LOT of asspulls and some bad narrative choices, and the supposed guardians are mostly cameos up to this point. Or it would be a VERY NICHE product, and I doubt it would do a great boost, since is a monthly manga that does sell slightly over 100,000 copies. I love the series, but I think some of the original additions were good. Then again, people can only see the faithful adaptations that don't add anything to make a series better. That's what an adaptation should do in the first place, for god's sake. No offense

Neverland should be around 60-65k and Kimetsu 40k+. Reprints of Kimetsu volumes 1-4 are coming out tomorrow. Wonder how much volume 4 will sell by the end of the month

I'm rooting for you Kimetsu! Also impressed by Neverland. I enjoy the series so I'm glad it's doing well.

In terms of what anime will be next, it'll likely be between Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san, and Kimetsu no Yaiba. As people have already said, Hinomaru Zumou should be due one. However, I understand that there are reasons why a studio wouldn't be keen on it from a business standpoint.

The RWBY manga's "climax" will be next month which probably means it's either the final chapter or the second last one.

It shouldn't have been in English Jump anyway but it's good to see it won't be sticking around for long at least, seems it'll be done in time for them to pick up the Rurouni Kenshin sequel when it starts as a sort-of replacement non-WSJ series (well, a non-WSJ sequel to a WSJ series).

Also, anyone that can confirm an interview with Sukeno that says the fillers in Twin Star were his idea please? Two persons told me that yesterday, in fact

I think the Kenshin and Yu-Gi-Oh special chapters are going to be released because there´s no WSJ magaines in January 2 and today

Did RWBY run weekly or monthly? I kept up but it scalanates slow as hell. Guess it was meant to be a short thing huh

Also I heard Shaman King had such a bad ending the author after some years released an alternative. Lol, how often does that happen if true?

RWBY is monthly, it's in Ultra Jump (same magazine as Jojolion).

Shaman King did indeed have a terrible original ending and a few years later when the manga was being rereleased it had one extra volume that gave it an actual ending. Takei talked about the reasons in interviews saying it had lost a lot of what made it good due to catering to the readers too much and got too standardised or something, so he felt that he couldn't keep going with it.

I'm just guessing at this but going by that and stuff he said while making the last volume about it being the finale he originally envision, it sounds a lot like his editor or perhaps some other higher-ups Jump didn't like his planned ending (thinking it would be badly received by the readers) and wanted him to change it to be more of a typical battle shounen finale, so he rage quit on the spot.

Reborn was hated by Jump readers for a long time before the editors understand it and gets it axed. xD
Sure, there are controversies about whether it was axed or not, but it is old discussion.

It was peaking around 600-700k (or more than 700k) per volume at it's prime.
