Fairy Tail X Chihayafuru

It is basically about Chihayafuru's 9th anniversary. They celebrated the anniversary by making a special collaboration between Hiro Mashima and Chihayafuru. Coincidentally, a character from Chihayafuru has same surname as Hiro-sensei's: Mashima. Mashima Hiro and Mashima Taichi (pink-haired boy in green kimono). The last pic is drawn by Hiro-sensei.

I can see Larcade, Sting, Rogue, Kagura, Natsu, Irene, Erza, and Wendy being on the volume 60 volume cover. I just noticed Natsu and Gray being the volume 59 volume cover relates to the END subplot so whoever is on the volume 60 volume cover should relate to the Larcade and Irene subplots.

I would love Irene and Larcade on there though, just the two of them but shippers will orgasm.

We don't get many opportunities for dragons other than Igneel an Achnologia to be showcased on a cover. Irene has been the most consistent character of this set of of chapters. Kinda would like her dragon form looking epic. Plus we had lots of crowded/many character covers this arc. Maybe a huge sema hitting ground in background like the asteroid that destroyed the dinosaurs type of image you see in movies.

I thought of that too.......

But I thought with Chelia and Wendy on the two sides of dimaria on her cover of vol 56. That sounds too similar.

On the other hand if Erza is standing ready to fight we be too much like the Erza in vol 54.

While having Irene big with all these smaller characters scattered around her - Larcade, Sting, Kagura, Wendy, and Erza.... that would be too much like vol 57...... and having the Erza vs Irene big with all the other characters small or adding Wendy to background would be like vol 55.

Plus if we have a Irene vs Wendy and Erza face off. We just got that with the Gray vs Natsu cover.

A dragon would change things up.

My vote would be something like the below pic with Irene and Erza. Wendy can be in background.

Or like...

^This with a red theme and Erza with her dragon mother. And Erza holding her sword in her Flame pants.

Mashima talked about the fake deaths in the volume 57 afterword. I never saw Mira fake death as a real fake death.

Mashima did say there would be more fake deaths but he didn't say who's fake death it was and before Mashima mentioned there would be more fake deaths he talked about Gajeel's fake death and then mentioned there would be more fake deaths. So one of the fake deaths is Juvia's and someone else and before you say it's Makarov it's not since Mashima confirmed in the Japan Expo interview that a character was going to die in the arc and the Japan Expo interview come out last year in July.

If I could guess Erza, Wendy, Irene, and possibly Natsu will be on the volume 60 cover. I the volume 60 cover will be released at the end of February or the 1st of March.
