Hellbringer - Lo Siento for not responding back to your fantastic guide to Peru sooner. (spent a day and a half in the hospital). I've sent this to my brother and he says muchas gracias. Seriously, he couldn't beleive. He said he was going to bring me back a bottle of Pisco to return the favor. I told him to dress warm. He's got no problems packing away the food (his wife is a toothpick though). They're both high energy people, so they'll probably see as much as they can, especially if hiking is involved. I guess you're supposed to make reservations at Machu Pichu to have some help with your packs, but he forgot. His wife was not happy, but he thinks he's up for it. I wish I was heading down there myself, but I have to go to beautiful Philidelphia for a buddy's wedding.

I like it......

I'm totally fine. My appendix decided to start a revolution in my abdomen, so I had to have a little surgery.
I'll be as good as new in a few weeks (maybe a month).
Finally, someone drive me to the ER, where I had to wait a while until they had someone who could cut me open. The guy who did the surgery told me that he did the "gridiron" surgery, not the new non-invasive type. He said, "the scar will make you look tough." Gee thanks, doc. Apparently there was a something that looked like a chunk of metal in my appendix when they took the x-ray. I don't remember eating any metal.
