Movies The Movie Thread!

^^
let us know how children of men is, i heard many mixed reviews about it.

[The Boff]

dude i LOVE children of men.
i think its the best movie 2006, no question.
but not everyone agrees with me. the most usual response i get when i show it to someone is: its ok, not great but ok.
while i say: ITS FRIGGIN BRILLIANT!!!!

so, do you trust me or a lot of other people?

[Impel Down]

I liked Children of Men too, but for more reasons than one....

And dressing up like Homer to go see Transformers is an awesome idea, lol. But I'd see Transformers over F4 anyday. It only got like 1 1/2 stars anyway, and it's not even canonical, it seems, because the SS eats the planets instead of Galactus.

[Paper]

man...thats a great idea! i'mma dress up like homer for the simpsons movie! i've already got everything i need in my closet and fridge!

[yoniekai]

haha. you'd really look like homer . cant wait man cant wait but what's the world gonna be without the simpsons....

[erikrhys]

probably the world will be exactly the same, just less funny.............and less yellow........

Today I saw Fantastic 4: Rise of the thing form the Oscars....(but silver, not gold)

What a crappy movie... I'm disappointed.

Is anyone going to see 1408? If so, don't. It is/is going to be total crap.

if the movie is ANYWHERE near as good as the game, we will be in for a treat. I would personally LOVE to see a Devil May Cry movie

[bebekhappy]

I've watched Transformers yesterday with my friends...twice...It's awesome, but i still have the dizziness i've got from watching tht movie because some scenes was too fast especially when they fight.

I wonder when they play Live Free or Die hard here...well at least i'm glad i didnt watch F4 : Rise of the Oscar Surfer...thx for your advice guys^^.

[The Boff]

hitman... awesome game, kickass character.
but im not sure of their choice of the guy thats playing 47...
he look soooo young compared to the real 47... but you never know, maybe the movie kicks arse too..

I was too impressed at the person they chose either, I would prefer that they chose the guy that played Transporter and Crunk.

[yoniekai]

just saw transformers. twice. i really must say this. coolest fcking battles ever since 300.

Spoiler

but damn shia lebouf to hell! die you cheesy actor!

gawd i wish they'd make a gundam movie like this... my head was blank with absolutely stunning robots.

@hitman: why cant they find a better agent 47 look alike????? i mean, timothy olyphant looks like a wimp

Yeah, don't. The actual "horror" is pretty low, and it totally strays from the original story, which was worlds better.

yeah jason statham would have been a better choice. although he wouldve needed some voice coaching to get the right tone and dialect.
but you never know... Olyphant could be brilliant, we'll have to wait and see

[kadodo]

You're right, we cannot judge a person's acting just by their face. I'll wait to see what he can do.
