Fantasy Ishgar Mages Power Rate - [FINISHED]

Gajeel and Levy beat Bradman, a Spriggan. Irene wanted her swords to go face CS, and not only are they worse than a Spriggan but they got defeated by Mira. This hype didn't make any sense at all. Though i agree that there was some hype from CS, they never showed what they were really worth.

I was thinking of it this way, but consider this. Bradman isn't exactly one of the higher ranking S12. I'd have him among the lower ones, since he uses some pretty outdated spells, so Gajeel defeating him honestly doesn't amount to much.
With Juliet and Hynhe, it's a situation similar to Yomazu and Kawazu on Tenrou Island. Gajeel exhausted himself beating them, and he was on the same calibre as mages like Natsu and Gray even on the island. Would that mean Gajeel was weak, or Yomazu and Kawazu were strong? Obviously the latter, so it's the same case with Juliet and Hynhe.
Yomazu + Kawazu<=Seven Kin of Purgatory level.
I think their combined power falls just short of Spriggan level.
Juliet and Hynhe<=Spriggan 12 level.
Gajeel was never Spriggan level until he entered DF.

But i have to agree nonetheless i also placed them higher than Rogue and Minerva in my personal ranking. 6/10 for both Rogue and Minerva, and 7/10 for both Cobra and Midnight. I don't really understand why Rogue is not out before Midnight, but more importantly, why is Wendy coming out now ?! When Rogue is still here?! That makes no sense at all.

Wendy should have come out as the first DS honestly.
I think she gets WAY too overrated due to her Dragon Force.

Wendy's out? Well I suppose given some of who's left that's fair, although I'd have her above Mira. I would've thought Cobra would rank a bit higher too but oh well.

If Mira or a GOI isn't next, then I'll be VERY surprised.

The Wizard Saints need to fall before the top 10.

He maybe beat an H12, but how does H12 still compare to even a jobbing Irene? Her feats would have her blitz Rogue badly and she can essentially take any of his attacks shown. She oneshotted a 9D while severely weakened, and has been fighting and healing people from near death for an entire day. I don't see how Rogue has any feats to say he's stronger than Wendy. She has out performed him in magic and physicals.

I agree that DF Wendy is overrated, especially because i've always thought that DF was kind of a multiplier. Sting and Rogue's DF during GMG didn't even beat Base Natsu, because Natsu was a lot stronger than these two. DF on Natsu is incredibly powerful because one of the strongest DS mage. With that in mind i was never too impressed with DF Wendy because Base Wendy never accomplished much, and while her DF allowed her to beat Ezel, it was still not enough for me to consider her THAT powerful, espeically compared to the other DS.
But in this arc she's proven to have grown a lot. Actually when in Wendy's body, Irene stated that her magic power didn't diminish that much, and she was pretty impressed by that fact. Overall the feats Wendy, DF or not, displayed this arc were pretty good. As much as i would like to consider Cobra still very strong, he has no feats didn't show any improvement. DF Wendy being overrated or not, her feats are better than Rogue's.

That's just a way of ranking people... I actually dont like that much. Like, i don't enjoy placing Orga and Rufus lower than Lucy, or placing Jura below Mira. I'd like to think the power levels are still relative to what they were before timeskip. There's no reason to believe Jura got worse than Mirajane, when he was on par with Laxus. Just as there was no reason to believe Gildarts couldn't improve (because "past his prime") and remained Bluenote tier so he would't be able to face Spriggans. Imo it's logical to consider that everyone grew and trained at the same pace, aside from people who are explicitely stated to have had a huge training (like Natsu, or Gray). Or just like when Elfman went to the GMG and became extraordinarily muscular and stated to have had an enormous training.
So yeah... I would have liked to place Rogue or CObra below Wendy, or Jura way above, Orga and Rufus above as well... But oh well.

Exactly my point, and tbh, I think the Twin Dragons can handle Wendy in base form. I'd even say GMG Twin Dragons>Tartaros Wendy.
Beating Ezel itself isn't even that impressive considering he's the weakest Demon Gate (I'd even say Keith is stronger). And I think her current DF is less superior to the one in Tartaros. Kinda like how TOH Natsu's DF is the strongest one we've seen so far. DF's taken from external elements (like Etherion, Iron in MBP's and even air filled with ethernano) are more powerful than internalized DF's (Twin Dragons in GMG and Natsu in Tartaros).

Rogue beat Historia Bradman. Wendy's only feat this arc is beating Historia Ezel. Historia Bradman>Historia Ezel.
I'm not counting the stuff with Irene because honestly that's a matter of match ups. Their both enchantresses, so their both each others weaknesses. It's similar to how Sting was able to counter Pleasure Magic while everyone else was affected by it. That doesn't count as a feat. Sting beating Larcade is the impressive feat.

Hmm, I guess that's a way of looking at it. Power levels are still relative, some people are just getting more screentime than others in the current arc while others are getting zilch.
If anything I'd say the screentime inflated more than the power rankings in the current arc.

Midnight is where he should be, honestly i think Juvia and Lucy should still be higher than him. OS hype means nothing, Eileen thought Juliet and Hyne were enough to deal with them and MIra>Juliet and Hyne. Mira>OS combined?

Ohoh, the Gods of Ishgar are slowly falling apart. Okay, I'll have to confess something; I've never found this man that impressive. He used to be seen as a walking danger during the Grand Magic Games, but I think mages like Kagura and Minerva were much more impressive. At least these two would've put up a better fight against Laxus, for sure.

So, this man turned out to be the hero during Fairy Tail's fight against the Oración Seis by stomping their leader, Brain (luckily it turned out that Brain wasn't even the strongest of the group). Jura is a incredible mage when it comes to both offensive and defensive feats. Aside of his outstanding hand-to-handcombat level, he has a collection of some pretty powerful spells; take Rumbling Mt. Fuji for example, where he scored a higher MPF score than Orga with. For his defense, Jura managed to block Jellal's Grand Chariot with Rock Mountain. That says enough I guess.

Jura is overrated like hell. Jellal pre-2nd timeskip Sema could of one shot him. Laxus pre-2nd timeskip beat him 1v1 after he dusted Orga. He's bald too.

Hyberion placing in the top 10 is what should happen. Wolfheim's close combat in his beast form was cool, but God Serena still ate that punch for the most part. Sting and Kagura should be top 12. Larcade is a top 3 S12, gotta get credit for teaming up to beat them. I think Minerva > Rogue but Rogue will probably place above her casue he a dragon slayer.

Starting to thing we should have went FF arc style with this and had ft members vs ft members. Included Makarov, Cana, Elfman, Mystogan, Mavis, Mest, Levy, Lisanna. Then would not have gotten so far of the grid. Feel like we started pretty good and quickly derailed. Half these people have not had feats since gmg and other s have literally done nothing in this series (cough 3/4 of GoI)....
