Meh let's discuss something else more fun.

Let's guess Jump mangaka which method they use to draw their manga paper + ink or digital.

These are known (from Jump Ryu):

One Piece (paper/ink), Boku no Hero Academia (paper ink), Haikyuu (paper ink), Gintama (paper/ink), Food War (digital)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My guess :

Paper/ink: Isobe, Dr Stone (started in 2004), , Hinomaru Zumou, Hungry Marie (2008 series, why change method), Black Clover (I remember someone says he started to draw in 2003)

Digital: Yuragi (he said it himself), We never learn, Poro, The Promised Neverland (ain't nobody got time to color all those picture on twitter with paper/ink)

Not really sure: Kitmetsu no Yaiba
There's footage of Horikoshi working. He switches between digital and paper/ink.

Boichi's colored work looks very digital to me, but idk.

Black Clover looks traditionally drawn as well as Kimetsu No Yaiba

Food Wars is definitely digital.

Neverland is also definitely digital. But Posuka does a very good job at making the artwork look traditionally drawn/painted.

Samon looks digital as well

For the most part id pretty much everything else looks traditionally draw, except maybe We Never Learn.

Pretty sure WT was confirmed to be done digitally in one of the interviews with Ashihara.

Has there ever been mention of the speeds of the different methods (paper vs digital)? Miura and Saeki always seem so chill in their author comments, playing games and watching tv and stuff. And Posuka has time to do tons of twitter sketches and extra content for volumes. Id imagine itd be significantly faster going digital because it puts 2 processes into one (sketch + inking). I ask because watching Togashi's Jump Ryu someone posted a week or so back, he was very slow and still using paint to colour. And it didnt seem like he was taking his time just for the camera, either. I cant help but wonder if he got into doing it digitally, if it would significantly reduce the burden on his body by being quicker? Obviously its not so easy to change drawing method after doing it for so long. I know Hoshino made the change with D Gray Man and she was able to come back for a while at least, but it does seem like her problem is more serious than Togashi's from what weve heard.

Really liked Dr. Stone's first chapter. Based on first chapters alone, I hope both Dr. Stone and Hungry Marie survive and do well.

We should bring him here, make him aware of how goddammed stupid and how much of an absolute waste of life him and his opinions are.
Just ignore em. Such youtubers have their heads way up their rear that they wouldn't believe anyone, even if you threw facts at them all day and night. You'll just be wasting your time.

this is sorta address in Juhan Shuttai! . I think it makes a lots of sense.

Going digital allows a mangaka to change position in drawing, especially if you are an old mangaka. You get bad posture which leads to bad angle which leads to bad drawing. Since the drawing tablet will be put at a higher angle than traditional paper ink.

Traditional way can sometime lead to accident like spill ink. The worst thing that can happen to a digital version is power outage, nowadays it is very simple to recover it. In fact some software has automatically saved in cased of power outage.

It also easier to erases and color stuffs. I also think that assistants nowadays use digital more.

The new volume of black clover is killing it on amazon. Clearly the best selling manga from jump this month.

Know the release schedule to not fall for such things. If you knew the schedule you would know that Haikyuu, Shokugeki and World Trigger are released this month. There is no way Black Clover will sell more than these three.

So whats the expectation going into the golf manga in two weeks?

Personally, I have mixed expectations.

Low expectations.
Again another series that is treated like some kind of masterpiece without deserving such treatment. Kuroko no Basket was dead last for a long time before the anime comes out and the fujoishis discover it and save it from complete oblivion.

Well for a manga that used to sell more than MHA sells now, that's a LOT of fujos. I mean, a fucking heaping lot of them. And basically, you're saying that Tadatoshi only needs to put good looking dudes and it will be a success?

Also... How a "doomed to oblivion, not for education" (isobe?)" jump series can receive an anime? how can this be possible?

I don't think so... Kuroko was not that bad... Not a chance.

Say it to the rankings. This is history, it cannot be changed by your opinion.

Yes, the question was not "my opinion" related. How come a "that bad" ranked series received a worldwide famous/praised anime?

Kuroko Hype is still alive unlike other finished series, seeing how Jump place the series they will not surprise me if it survive.
About the content per se, If the author love writing the series (because he like playing golf) I don't have a problem, I have more problem with author writing lazy shit and don't trying to improve.

Robot first volume's not being released in that day is logic(it will have like 11 chapter), but Dr stone not released is more suspisious, maybe to have the less well know author series to promote the rookies ones?

Do you think I'm lying about Kuroko no Basket rankings? Se for yourself then.
January 2012, not far from the anime debut, therefore it was already been promoted:

It goes on and on, it rarely gets out of the bottom 5 and when it does, it doesn't go far.

No dude... I'm asking... If it were so bad, WHY IT RECEIVED AN ANIME? Answer me that. It's simple lol.

I could not care less about an already ended series ranking lol.
