First, go back to check that comment of mine where I say I "could see a few cases happening" for people with similar extra role to stand ability scenario, not necessarily everyone, I think that would be way too dangerous, since it could lead to Mafia targetting the townies with the more dangerous extra roles first, by following Jojo part 3, that would ruin the game!

There are stands in jojo that can be comparable to extra roles like:

Hermit Purple - Detective or Spy
Emperror - Cowboy, or paranoid Gun owner or similar
Yellow Temperance - Traitor
Star Platinum - bodyguard, or bulletproof townie
Horus - Some kind of agressive or defensive role (many options)
Atum - Mafia Gambler (only role that comes close to the stand´s ability of removing souls of those who lose to the gambler with the stand)
Osíris - Mafia Gambler
Bastet - Any distracting player role.
Lovers - Any type, of colateral "bomb" role upon death (in part 3 he could do this to other people by putting pieces of Dio´s vampire cells in their brains which would kill them but not necessarily himself, so it could be related to a ofensive role)
Magician's Red - Agressive role.
Hierophant Green - Recruiting role (not sure if one can even have those sort of extra roles though)
Silver Chariot - Agressive role
Sethan - Agressive role, Witch role would fit well the stand´s ability
Cream - Most high tier defensive or ofensive role, because this Stand is one of the most broken out of the entirety of part 3.
Justice - Recruiting, witch, or vengeful townie role, in a way the stand could work as a sort of pirate type role.
Dark Blue Moon - Traitor, and by the water theme of the stand we could compare it to the pirate role to a degree, could work to a degree as a agressive role, but not as much as other combat directed stands of the part, it also as a ability that can be compared to defensive roles, but not something like Bulletproof since the first attack on this stand still Works, could also serve as some sort of consequential role triggered in response to a action.
The Fool- The stand is versatile, so it could be one out of many roles, however I dont find my stand ability very versatile.

Kinda jelly you got Jotaro. On the other hand, role-playing as him would have been quite boring anyway.

17 players with hints to roles and stands can get quite messy, we'll definitely need a list for this one.

Just go check on the 1st page there´s everything there, it doesnt seem like we are having any stand/extra role correlation so far and if we do it will be either random, or the player could be lying.

One thing that worries me from my past (few) experiences in this game, is that a newcommer has always been getting Mafia, but most of them are kinda active...I wonder if they took their time to look into one or 2 past games
