When i heard that the movie is taking place after Avatar arc and right before Alvarez arc (would thata be considered canon?), I actually had a feeling they would tease season 3 in the end.

If anybody has seen the movie please tell me what is the backstory of Acnologia.

Basically, 400 years ago one of the girls in the movie (I forger her name) who is from the Stella kingdom was in Crocus, and she was being attacked by the dragons there. Acnologia basically saved her by killing all the dragons there, creating the dragon graveyard and thus you can link in his death to dragons mission being because of this.

Here's Acno's backstory (as told by Raneaa)

400 years ago, in what will later become Crocus, Acnologia met with a little girl, Sonya. However, that girl started being attacked by dragons (which included Zirconis). Acnologia, unwilling to let her die, decided to rebel against the dragons and caused the legendary massacre at Crocus. This is supposedly the reason behind his motivations and why he believes dragons shouldn't exist

And it seems "he leads the massacre".That means there were other Dragon Slayers also who followed him.

Sorry, by "lead" I meant as in "conducted" (by himself). In other words, he was alone on this.

Sammy does your Friend confirms that Capricorn dress appears in the movie ( Only thing in the whole movie I'm looking forward to ).
If Hiro wanted to ake this movie canon it's should be after Alvarez empire cause between Avatar and Alvarez there's no time gap between these two arcs..

I so can't wait for the movie to be release, all of those graylu and natju will literally complete my life.

I've been waiting for this moment where all of the real ship will be reveal and you guys would then know who the real truth is hahaha.. I'm always right.

And all of those badass moment of Carla... When will your bias ever? Guess what? They will not even appear hahaha..

I could never be more than happy... And to add on top of that, this movie revolve around our princess Carla... I so can't wait

For the history of acno, is that all?

It does not matter what, I hope there is more to know than that about him in the film as in the manga.

Even a classic thing, kind, his family is made killed by the dragons, he has hatred against them.

He becomes a DS to get revenge but he also despises the nice dragon so he has hatred.

For him there is no nice or bad dragon, there are dragon it is all and it is a problem.

That her hatred helped her make prowess in combat, that the dragon cry made her stronger + allowed her to absorb the soul of the dragon, but that made her mad.

And that natsu in the film will be resisted to this madness.

We'll see .

For the star dress of caprico, mashima could have put it in the manga.

In the same way as that of aries, scorpion and cancer, we saw them very quickly.

So the kind when natsu and lucy arrive at the guild, lucy lends to fight it puts it on, natsu stops gray and after maivis tell gray and lucy to leave.

Its been just history of the shown, finally good.

Am I the only one who felt like Acnologia didn't need a backstory? Not everything needs a noble cause, some people are just power hungry maniacs...that's it. I actually don't mind too much that Erza is using Grand Chariot, the only thing I have an issue with is that it's probably gonna be via requip. Since this seems to be one of Jellal's more weaker/basic spells as of late, I would've rather had him teach her it during the time skip. It would be more romantic if that was part of Hiro's intentions with this. But the costume she's wearing leads me otherwise.
