Irene is a Dragon. She's a human turned Dragon and she can't be cleansed. Once you a DS becomes a Dragon they're stuck like that forever. Irene is a female Dragon lol.

Regarding Nalu, This ship is the soul that keeps fairy tail alive till this very date even Mashima admit that in France interview. He said FT is popular because ppl love Natsu and Lucy adventures. I'm shipping them since episode one and i think the majority of Nalu fans ship them from the very beginning as well. Personally i feel Natsu without Lucy is another character and the same applies on Lucy. Mashima keep teasing us with Nalu moments, It would be absurd if he didn't made them a canon couple in the end. It's Mashima's story after all, I have no right to complain but he is giving them so much screen time and in the current chapter he portrayed Nalu as the new Alzac and Bisca. If it left open, it won't be the worst thing but it would take time to accept it.

Well by the way in nalu favour I would say this in 2014 poll from twitter, fb, tumblr and you tube nalu was ranked no.1 even overtaking kirito x asuna ship and gruvia was no. 10 so yeah nalu definitely have numbers in favour of them.
I was once a hardcore nalu shipper to but comments here kind of make me somewhat dislike them but yeah this ship should happen for fans sake.

I'd be legit pissed lol. Like the end battles sucked so I better at least get my damn ship I was rooting for from day one. NaLu definetely needs to happen or this would be a horrible end to my fav series. Natsu's and Lucy's relationship is one of the reasons I watched this manga. Their dynamic is the heart of the manga.

They weren't dating but in her mind who knows what women he will see on his journey and she knew him before all those other hos. She may not have exclusive rights to his parts but secretly she thinks so because she doesn't want to explicitly say she loves him because that would mean they are dating and if they are dating he would have to take her on dates but he isn't the holy grail of boyfriends and if they have an argument they may split up.........

Yeah but this is Natsu we're talking about. Pretty sure Lucy knows him well enough to deduce he's probably not going to be hanging around with many women. I think Lucy was just upset that she was going to be lonely. Usually it's Natsu that comforts her, and spending time with him probably cheered her up from Aquarius' loss.

It's not completely undeveloped. It has the same development as Tiva on NCIS. They were partners and best friends. Both somewhat didn't like each other at first (for Natsu and Lucy this was around Daybreak and Eisenwall) and they balanced that less than lovers but more than friends aspect as the series progressed. Then later they showed a really intimate friendship. It was not until after Ziva left that we (the audience) found out it was canon.... THE WHOLE TIME (F*** you CBS for breaking my heart)

Shippers had been saying for years that the two were more intimate off panel but the main two things people said against this ship was:

1. They make better friends/They don't have any moments that couldn't also just show a really close friendship bond
2. Fanservice/Forced aspect to Tiva's relationship where they had to "pretend to have sex;" forced to pretend to be a couple for a case, get pushed into a closet; stuck in elevator that's really hot; forced to strip.

So really it ends up being a preference thing. It's more fun when they have the funny reactions and awkward situations and the denial before they admit to having feelings. Another example would be early Castle and Becket (close friendship with forced romance). Also Angel x Cordelia (people say this ship has too much friendship and was forced too much in story).

I think biggest problem of nalu is that it has way way way way way to much fanservice. Take out 50% fanservice it will be a likable ship. I think it was a misseed oppurtunity when lucy didn't went to natsu to console him during igneel's death akin to like gruvia moment in chapter 416 or god knows something.

The thing I like about Natsu and Lucy is how chill and comfy they are around each other, while all the other pairings are all booloving with googly-eyed moments Natsu and Lucy would be the type in their underwear playing card games while taking turns rubbing the other's feet. Remember that anime extra video with Aya Hirano and Silver's vc that caused that blowup that Hiro had to tweet to cut that shit out? Lowkey it's accurate, an open relationship with the potential of something in the future is best for them. Leave all the romance for the birds, their bond is the best so people shouldn't trip. But it's the FT fandom which means they will.

Actually I wasn't anti nalu but some members here like Asorx treat natsu as a character who is there only for nalu and nothing else which piss me off. which made me pretty much anti-nalu. Apparently acc. to him natsu is the worst MC of all time which is stupid. I think gruvia fans here are some of the best they treat both characters very well (coming from me i dislike both juvia & gray big time.)

I am a huge Lucy fan and while I do ship Nalu a lot, I hate how Mashima makes me chose. Not to mention a lot of Nalu shippers constant want the rescuing of Lucy and her crying over him to show her love. Especially in Alvarez and Gmg which had more Nalu but Lucy wasn't given her own fighting moments like ToH and Tartaros or independent development like with her father in PL or the Loke Arc. Plus in Edolas and Daybreak she was given a unique role.

While in Alvarez, Lucy's only role outside of befriending someone new was being completely around Natsu the whole arc. Even her relationship with Brandish was used to heal Natsu and oh wait.... awaken END. And both her fights had Natsu in them. Her 4 major moments.... were about Natsu.

Nalu is a very likeable ship. Another issue with Nalu is that it's practically every chapter for 500+ chapters so after while.... "Make then bang or break them up" There is that bit of desensitization too.

Her involvement in gmg had more nalu coz of dragon and ds stuff( again somewhat related to 400 year plan) so it is kind of understandable.

Which is why i always am big fan of MC's (lelouch vi britania, son goku, monkey d luffy, ichigo kurosaki, saber, rei ayanami and more ).MC's always carries series expectations on there shoulder even though they have the support of other characters.

I actually enjoyed Lucy's moments for the Alvarez arc. She stood up against Brandish, and she showed great resolve in facing Acnologia. Sure Lucy's primary focus this arc has been to make sure Natsu was alright, but I didn't feel it lessened her significance to the story.

I agree. Lucy had feelings for Natsu. All I'm saying, Lucy probably wasn't worried that Natsu would fool around with other girls.

wait, are you contradicting yourself? That gap you said is not a big deal. Ones can still love each other even if they are separated in years. And I think this is what makes Jerza beautiful.

There would be no problem if a couple separated by 1 or 3, there would be no problem repairing the relationship and everything would be fine, but the problem with jerza, is that it has a huge gap of (as I said) 16 years of separation More or less), with occasional fleeting interactions that do not contribute anything to the relationship, because Jellal may not have changed much in his way of being, as Erza knew. But Erza is no longer the same shy girl that Jellal first met in ToH, because the Erza of now is totally unpredictable and sometimes uncontrollable, and I do not think Jellal is prepared to survive a relationship of that level with Erza, for more to love each other.

Natsu and Erza would not be incest, because they are not brother and sister.
But an incestuous relationship could have been born by Gildarts and Kana (perhaps), because they look unusually together and that's a very suspicious thing XD or if Evergreen falls in love with Laxus, that would leave Elfman alone and he would have to settle for One of his work sisters.
It's like Bleach, I suspect that Yuzu could be the mother of Ichigo's son, and Orihime is just there to hide that relationship.
That's the fun of the couples. XD
