Lol even Kyriaxus has more chances to happen.

And yeah Jerza is a great couple just like Nalu what pisses me is that Hiro doesn't make them move forward.

Jerza is moving forward and more developed than Nalu by miles.

Gruvia is the second most developed ship after Gale, And Gray isn't rejecting Juvia like he did in the past, Now he developed feelings for her and totally in love with her. In chapter 113, Gray vs Gold owl. Gold owl transformed Gray into the girl he loves by using the love bond spell and guess who is that girl.

With that being said, I'm a Nalu fangirl. Its the only ship i like among them but the fact remains facts. Natsu and Lucy ship is very poorly developed compared to the other three. The other ships have something in common, A confirmed mutual love.

There is only two strong Nalu moments that i can recall that is linked to eachother. The one we had in the original manga in the last chapter, Lucy was expecting a kiss but Natsu let her down. It means she is open to have Natsu as a love partner, But Natsu wasn't ready.

The second one is in the sequel, Edo Lucy had a baby with edo Natsu Lucy, Edo Lucy described that Edo Natsu did what he did in the car. And she also told Earth Lucy that it will happen with you someday in that sense of meaning.

I believe Nalu will happen when Natsu is ready.

So Mashima finds Kyria's art with a Laxus doll "cute" to the point of placing it in the extra content of the last volume?

Don't you find it curious that Mashima is not sure of the miraxus, he draws a picture of the son of this ship at the request of a fan but immediately creates kyria with a huge resemblance to this son?

I don't want to get too excited but, Kyria already looks like the winner

I think Gray and Juvia are basically confirmed at this point, and honestly, I’m happy for Gruvia fans. But I want to explain something i kept buried for a long time about ships, why I reacted with so much anger toward certain discussions in the past, and why Juvia became such an important character to me despite never truly caring about Gruvia itself.

The reason i used to hate Gray with passion besides his fandom. is because I was genuinely afraid of what he represented in the story. Gray is written like a normal romantic male character. He understands attraction, emotions, intimacy, and relationships in a grounded way. Because of that, it always felt believable that Lucy could eventually see him differently. Because honestly, why wouldn’t she?

That fear stayed with me for years because Natsu never truly developed romantically. The entire series keeps pushing Natsu and Lucy together emotionally, constantly giving them lovely moments, and partnership symbolism, and scenes that clearly invite romantic interpretation. But despite all of that, Natsu himself almost never changes in a romantic sense. She grows emotionally, She becomes vulnerable, She shows attachment, She reaches toward him, Meanwhile, Natsu still puts her on hold.

That imbalance is what made me anxious about Gray. Because Gray felt like the kind of character who could realistically become a romantic option if Lucy ever gave up waiting emotionally for Natsu. So when Juvia entered the picture and gradually became tied to Gray romantically, she unintentionally became one of the most important characters in Fairy Tail to me. Not because I deeply cared about Gruvia itself, but because her existence removed the possibility of Gray becoming a serious romantic rival in the narrative. Juvia gave Gray a direction away from Lucy, and that gave me relief. Even tho, It would have made Natsu grew and actually develop feelings.

The series kept escalating their closeness while refusing to let Natsu emotionally evolve alongside Lucy. That is why Gruvia eventually started feeling more satisfying to many people. Gray and Juvia actually progressed. Their relationship moved somewhere. There was acknowledgment, emotional growth, and mutual direction. While Nalu remained forsaken in the endless ambiguity.


So yes, congratulations to Gruvia fans.
