Sigh..... I can understand Elfman, but Cana? You guys know she one-shotted Elfman by turning him into a card. So she should be way higher than him. Besides being able to turn the people into cards, she also has one of the most offensive spells out there - Fairy glitter. The only spell Mavis theorized could hurt her ethereal ghost in order to free her from the lacrimal. An offensive spell that rivals Fairy Law by compacting light into a single target that was first used against Bluenote Stinger on Tenrou Island. The girl is also the daughter of Gildarts Clive and has been stated to have latent strength, which some think gives her the ability to wield and later spam fairy glitter.

Her other main offensive magic includes wielding a variety of cards with varying powers ranging from elemental attacks to sleep magic or throwing the cards themselves as shurikens . Cana is shown to have foresight such as predicting when her dad would appear at the guild, fortune telling, and sensing when Lucy was in danger with Brandish. The girl also worked her ass off in her team up fight with her father against the King of Magic, August Dragneel.


Let's not forget she delivers a mean punch to the back of the head that Brandish can testify to.


After saying that... She's not THE BEST in this group since there are a lot of high tier people.

Honestly I could not decide between two.

(1) Being suspicious of Elfman and calling him out on his behavior before rescuing him, Mira, Gajeel, Lucy, Gray, Juvia, Wendy, Laxus, Makarov, the thunder legion, and others from the guild as Seliah's bomb went off.

(2) Scoring 9999 in the Grand Magic Games and outclassing people like Jura and Orga when it actually meant something.

While Cana did have Fairy Glitter she was still pretty weak in comparison to the other mages. The Spell was absolutely useless against Top tiers. So far the list is going as expected.

I expect either Lyon or Rogue to be out next. IMO they are the next weakest of the entire list.

This makes me think Hades must have never been a strong mage in the first place and the devils heart was the only thing that made Hades monstrous strong mage. Though I'm sure a lot of us or all of us can agree about this.

what Precht literally stomped Makarov even without heart Hades is still stronger than (Gmc Laxus/Gmc Jellal),so i have to quess Laxus or Jellal was never strong mages during 791 or 792 events....

Welp anyways I gave cana around 5 and elfman 4.5 I guess, and their placement is totally justified.

Natsu's base Flames don't burn through time or go past his heat resistance. They even gave name to the fire lol.

Natsu burned the guilds love into him and after that attack nearly lost an arm. Gildarts would simply move out of the way and blow Natsu up.

Base Natsu isn't that strong, dragon force literally vaporized Zeref. Plot came in prevented Zeref from coming back.

Ok, first of all... How is Ultear above Elfman? I mean, I guess it's possible... But by current standards Ultear should be pretty low.
Secondly... How is Cana out already!? I won't lie that she is really weak, but will we really forget her Fairy Glitter!? The spell that pre-timeskip was stronger than even Jura!? More than that, this spell should be stronger now...
And did we really forget that she actually somewhat damaged August? Like srsly people... I gave Cana 6 points, and didn't expect her to be out that soon.
Next should be either Ultear or Lyon(It definetly should be Ultear though).
