Before I end this rate officially, I just want to thank everyone who took part in it.

I find Larcade overrated. Maybe because Mashima got him confused with a ****** he was doing on the side but besides having a huge range of MP and blocking Kagura, I find he was overhyped by getting destroyed so easily. Then again Zeref did . Either way I think Laxus is weaker based on Larcade affecting him.

I think GIildarts will lose against Larcade but in my opinion Gildarts is overall stronger that's why i put him higher in my ranking. Zeref just kill him when he was half dead and still his magic in this state work on Natsu. Larcade poses magic that affect a true desires of humans: Sleep, Hunger, Pleasure and Pain. I find this magic very intersting and uncommon. I really like it and for me it's not ******.

age seal to me was like brandish's mass manipulation & marin's space magic, seilah's macro, rusrtyrose's arc of embodiment. OP magic but i don't really think it works against stronger oppenents. jacob can make anyone disappear by just clapping his hands but never saw anyone whinning why he's low, by that logic he should make it to the top 3 too, invel should be top 3 too via ice lock, a lot of characters with haxed magic should make it to the top 3.

Except those magics did work on stronger people. Erza was stronger than Seilah physically yet a half dead Seilah was able to control her and Minerva at the same time. Marin's magic negated Jacob's transport and Marin would get oneshotted by any S12. Jacob should've been higher on the list but he would be below DiMaria because her hax happens faster than Jacob's. Only Natsu, and Irene have the power to get out of TS in this ranking because they have counters. Everyone else gets put in TS.

I totally agree with you I think hax in alvarez arc are somewhar underrated with how they were treated. Its like author didn't know how to use hax oriented mages. You see jacob was defeated by team of natsu + lucy in which lucy was perfect counter to jacob statham's hax ability. Brandish freaking didn't even got a proper fight because she could have wiped out most of enemy herself by enlarging vital organs and dimaria was beaten by first ulteat who was brought back by god knows how and then by the strongest demon who are generally resistant to magic resistant seals (we saw that with magic seals).
I think all dimaria, brandish and jacob personaaly should be ranked higher than they were.

Agreed. Hiro admitted in one of his afterwords that he doesn't like to use hax in battles because the f power levels and that him and other authors tend to not use them in battle because they wouldn't be as showy as a big explosion or physical battle. DiMaria should have been in the top 3. Brandish should have easily been in the top 10.

None of those guys have higher MP than her so the argument of MP is moot, and Marins MP is a lot weaker than Jacobs yet his magic negated Jacob's. Erza and Lucy got sent to the dimension bcs they defied his spacial rule. They could have beat him if they knew not to use spacial magic. He doesn't have the physicals to take an actual hit from an S12. He was Brandish pet for a reason. None of those guys have the ability to counter DiMaria's TS.

Brandish' magic didn't work on Neinhart because of his enchantment, not his magic power. Her magic worked fine on August and Irene did not enchant Neinhart to be so powerful that hes stronger than August. If that's the case then Natsu could take on August' magic power.

People trying to defend this poor decision are simply bias. Dimaria can stop time, no one but Natsu can counter it.

Unusual to see that I was one of the people who ranked Dimaria so low.
In my defence, Dimaria was extremely hard to rank, since time stop is above almost anything in FT, but she herself isn't that strong with her takeover, especially when compared to people like Laxus and Jellal.
Next should be Laxus, but knowing how overhyped he is, there is a possibility of Larcade or Jellal going out next.

Well dude thats the thing with the hax users, that they are not that strong physically and endurance wise. But the main strength of dimaria his her hax age seal and only ultear (who is herslef a time mage) and END (who is a demon so magic restraints doesn't work on him) were able to negate. There is a chance that that the mages who have immense amount of MP can negate thae hax spell. Someone like acnologia, zeref, august, irene who are the real top 4 mages of this series have immense MP could negate that effect. I doubt gildarts or laxus has that much high amount of MP than gildarts. They may be physically stronger than dimaria. Thats the conclusion that I can deduct out of this.
