Well I think the volume cover looks awesome with just Natsu/Fairy Heart Zeref.

So did anyone find the volume 62 afterword and if so what do you guys think Mashima will talk about in the volume 62 afterword?

I am ok with the picture. Since there is no Lucy I will always be prejudice against covers.

Honestly the Zeref coloring makes it simplistic as he is completely white. If he was full colored then it would be reminiscent of Volune 25's cover of Zeref and Natsu but the white way it is makes it different and more unique among the seas of covers.

My only problem is this bright, neon, hot purple border... Eeek!

Why couldn't we do a nice shade of blue or gold or black? Keep the purple border to match Neinharts' hair for HIS chapter cover.

Cuz Natsu and Zeref just scream purple and white....

All in all pretty cool and different from all the other ones.

And the fact that this dude on this ink heart movie promo is doing a fire dragon's roar and magic is spiraling down into the book just makes it better.

Mashima is just against my ideas tho.

Also the castle and the dragons in background would be Acnologia Vs Christina.

Really is simple when Lucy had (...somewhat) more shine than Natsu in this volume but it's dope, the border and Zeref look the best on this one.

Uh, I personally don't like this cover much, imo it has lazy written all over it. And considering its the 2nd last volume one would expect it to be a bit more detailed.. But... Yeah. And color choices with that bright purple stuff just makes it worse.

Also special editions always have something included with them like an OVA or omake and I wonder what will be included in the special edition of volume 62? Also I think volume 63 will have a special edition and have the Dragon Cry movie included as well as a booklet of omakes which could be about the 100 Year Quest and what certain characters did between X792/X793.

So you think the coloring of the volume cover is because it's the special edition volume cover? Well that would mean volume 62 will include postcards or stickers.
