So we should probably start trying to establish who isn't mafia so we can narrow things down a little right?

You say that as if it's easy But someone being pro-town can sometimes be obvious, or they may just be faking it to blend in. And then there's the ones who posted very little or nothing. Days 2 and 3 most people will be giving hints about their role, and by day 4 or 5 most people may already outright reveal and claim to have a role. Which is when this game gets really interesting, due to filtering out the real ones from the fakes.
Anything you'd like to say about your role Jammin? Or whether you have any thoughts on some people?

Personally I have nobody who I trust to be town at the moment. Maybe Demon, but that's only because my mind just refuses to believe him being mafia every single game.

I kinda don't like that I get such a strong Town vibe from Gry because of him analyzing the over-all situation so well. I've fallen for Mafia who have lured me like that in the past. Still, doesn't change the fact that I do get a Town vibe from Gry. Although I don't really agree on Spirit coming off as Mafia, since I feel Spirit is experienced enough by now to not get the Mafia yips.

On the other hand, my 'strongest' feeling is that Erinyes is putting a little too much into the whole "I don't know anything about DBZ" thing to give off an air of nooby innocence, while staying active. And that's not grounded in anything stronger than what Gry has on Spirit, so. Just goes to show how little we have to go on so far.

I wish people would be more active right about now, since I'm unsure how much play time I'll have this evening (toward the end of the Phase)..

On the contrary, I'm getting strong Mafia vibes from him. His interactions with Lambu, gnut, totinona and (maybe) vandard so far are intriguing. It's worth keeping an eye on him.

That's the thing though. In mafia you can't trust anyone at the start, but as the game goes on you will have to trust more and more people, either due to their actions or posts/reasoning. Many roles cannot confirm themselves, nor will our detectives be able to confirm more than a fraction of the players, so often you will have to pick between two people based on who you trust more.
Say it comes to a situation of you vs Jammin, people will vote for the one they trust more(or distrust less). If something were to happen right now, I'd trust Jammin more than you and lynch you instead.

I don't see how syx's play (if it were an act) would benefit Mafia at all. Nor Townies, of course, but I find it more likely to be the noob he says it is, than some ulterior motive behind it. I don't think I've ever seen anyone claim to delete the host PM, and it's just too dumb a thing to do (sorry syx) to not be kinda believable, imo.

With that said, I still might end up voting to lynch him if I don't get any more firm "reads" (damnit). On Day 1, I usually go for whoever I feel the most likely to be of harm to Townie, unless I actually have a firm suspicion on a mafia. Which is hardly ever.

Remember, he is very likely in the lawlett tier of players. Perhaps it doesn't tell you much since you haven't played the last games, but it's hard to read them and they can do both a town play and a mafia play regardless of if they're town or mafia.

But yeah the deleting the pm thing is stupid, and regardless if it's true or not puts the hosts in kind of a bad spot with deciding whether to send him another pm, and regardless if it's a lie or not using the hosts sending a pm or not to confirm his words is not really ethical..

I have a question.

You didn't question whether you were mafia or townie before did you? Shouldn't that have raised a red flag immediately? But it didn't did it. Only when you didn't know your specific role did you question if something was off. Can you explain that for me.

Because if you can't I'm going to have to assume you glanced quickly at the PM. Saw if you were a Mafia or a towniee. Maybe grabbed your avatar. Then deleted it in a fit of rage at Farfalla's, almost certainly intentional, character choice.
