When it was still in storyboard phase, I wanted the scene, where Mira punishes Erza to be more erotic, but my editor stopped me. Wait, maybe he wanted it to be more erotic and I stopped him? I don't remember well...I tled 413 Days year ago, so I just copy pasted it:I draw this story fully aware, that it's rather picture book than omake. It's about Happy having doubts about his name, and actually I was always wondering about it too. It's character's name, so no matter how bad or sad the situation is, someone says "Happy". I thought it's strange, but when I drew this story, I felt, that Happy is good name; in hard times characters like Happy make uncomfortable feelings vanish.

It's a story about Erza, who got carried away with mood. It became quite drunkenness story, with naked guys and ladies' sex appeal. I hope you enjoyed last scene between Jellal and Erza. Little digression, in previous issue of monthly magazine, where this omake was published, other work used king's game theme, so they duplicate. This work started from idea of linking anime and manga. Some time ago, when we were working out on the project, I heard, that director of anime, Ishihira, likes zombies, so I thought, that he can handle it in interesting way and I created an omake about zombies (?). It’s quite chaotic story, but staff members did their best and managed to release the episode in the same week omake was published in WSM. I don’t even need to say it, but I love Ichiya and writing this story was great fun. I remember I wasn’t sure, is I should Ichiyaze Wendy too or maybe not.It’s an omake from early stages, but even now I have an impression, that it’s near perfection. Idea of ladies’ dormitory was settled before publication, but I think I decided who lives there or how it looks inside in this omake. It also became first OAD, so I think it’s very popular among the fans. The matron of the dormitory, Hilda, appeared in 3 OAD too, these of you, who are interested, please check it too.I borrowed the title from “Yankee-kun to Megane-chan” by Miki Yoshikawa. Commonly referred to as modern parody. FT characters wearing school uniforms were something fresh and funny to draw. I wish I had more pages to introduce more characters, but I’ve got a feeling, that there are too many characters for omake. And so, I thought, that sakura shining in the colors of rainbow will look pretty on the screen and I drew this story.I wanted to draw American comics no matter what and that’s the only reason why I drew it. It’s a short story with only 6 pages, but it became very popular abroad, I saw few Fairy Woman fanarts too.This work was published in Monthly Shonen Magazine. I intended to draw it considering readers, who read FT for the first time, then during planning phase I decided to link it to “She’s Erza”. In the end it became like this, but it was suppose to be work, in which Mulan Rouge’s identity or other mystery will be revealed. But plot turned out to be too complicated and I thought it may confuse readers, who doesn’t know the series, so I quited. By the way, I remember, that Tetsuya Chiba, who read this omake, draw a picture of Natsu and Asuka.Stone age themed scribbles from Twitter were inspiration here. Expanding the plan and deciding to make it into omake was fine, but I never expected it to become so vulgar. I intended to write a story for middle school pupils, but I was made aware again, how wide FT fanbase is. It’s really vulgar story and it can’t be helped, but personally I quite like it. Especially Laxus, when I was drawing him, it was so ridiculous I was laughing myself, it became very cute.It’s collaboration manga with Coca-Cola. Not only FT, but other mangas were collaborating too. My turn was announced in the second half I think, other works were great and I remember I felt pressure. I like the moment, when Natsu and Happy destroy the book the most.Collaboration manga with “Parasyte”. “Parasyte” is manga I was hopelessly addicted to in the middle school, when I was carring the project, it was accepted in two messages, but I couldn’t feel satisfaction, so I let myself to draw a parody. I think many people are aware of it, but Lucy and Migi share the same voice actress – Aya Hirano. But I think that when this storyboard was in progress, cast wasn’t decided yet. Fate is strange, isn’t it?
