Not gonna lie I feel like trash after lurking on the twitter of bozebeats' author... like from the preview shot alone I wasn't feeling it at all, the MC looks hella fruity, beta, and just doesn't look cool. The art is passable. So the bad side of me wants it to get dumped asap so Golem Hearts could maybe have more time to be saved. I read a few of his recent tweets and dude is fucking HYPED to get serialized. That's probably how anyone would feel to get their series published in Jump but dude has been tweeting about it for awhile. Regardless how I feel after checking it out I hope dude finds success with this series or just in general. Sometimes you forget within the competition brings success but much more failures, that stuff can really affect someone's mentality.

Well, he’s a rookie so I’m not expecting much. The one shot was pretty good, but judging by the preview image, it might be completely different.

Definitely don't like the new look. He looked waaaay cooler in the one-shot. Looks the author has gone over to the darkside with Bozebeats. I'll still give it a shot--shouldn't judge a book by it's cover--but I don't have high hopes for it.

After reading the one shot I'm inclined to agree with you on that I didn't find it all that interesting also. I see it possible having a issue similar to that that Hungry Marie suffered from where the summary of the plot was more interesting then the actual series itself.

Either Sharkbait found his soulmate in a mangaka-
Or, OR(!) the mangaka is actually a magnificent bastard and created accounts like Sharkbait's to promote his new manga, planning this for years in advance.

You forgot the ultimate plot twist, Sharkbait IS Ryoji Hirano, the whole cherade began with him pretending to be american but in fact being japanese. For years he has been lurking in forums for the posters with the most correct opinions about what series will be cancelled and why, building his own perfect strategy to make bishounens great again. At last, with his database completed, his plan in fruition,wearing an Aizen smile on his face, he will unleash upon us his ultimate masterpiece which will put to shame even the titans like Stealth symphony and Best blue, BOZEBEATS!!!

Jump needs a Korra like mc. For some reason people disliked Legend of Korra compared to Airbender but the mc was great. Girl or guy doesn't matter, they both had good designs for the time period they were in and better yet they'll already have predetermined powers to learn as the series progresses. Make it happen Jump authors!
