The problem isn't the sport, it's the presentation. I can't pinpoint what's wrong, but what I can say for sure is that I enjoyed it way more before the professional arc started.

Regarding Robo x Laserbeam while the arc isn't that long, the way the matches are written don't really lend themselves to fleshing out the players. I mean I don't really know a whole lot about Dorian except that he is a Japanophile who applies super strength to golf and that information only came in his introductory chapters. While I am learning even less about Robo. I think the time skip so early without properly fleshing out the characters a bit more may have been a mistake.

Doesn't really help most of the commentary seem to be variations of "that shot was amazing". Proper context is needed, the concept of golf I am reading seems to be so detached from reality these players can go super saiyan for all I know and I still wouldn't understand how their skills compare to more grounded professional golfers.

It is a similar problem plaguing the more recent arcs of Shokugeki except setting in much earlier.

RxL could have better character designs, thats largely my issue with it, I cant care for most of the characters to do more than skim, also whoever is the sidekick caddy friend with Robo and also whoever is the dude hanging in the tree in last chapter are like my favorite character designs.

Fujimaki is the master of cute boys, the boy hanging in the tree is just the beginning, if you like cute boys, you want RxL to continue.

Yes. The new EiC is Hiroyuki Nakano, who succeeded Yoshihisa Heishi. This change happened in issue 31 of 2017 I believe.

Actually it's not that well known but Jaguar's ending was full color too (although in bichrome, not full color)
It ended un Issue 38 of 2010, I remwmbwr because I had that Issue because it came with a bunch ir Jump Issue I bought for cheap.

Here's the proof Jaguar ended all in color, keep un mind Jaguar had shorter chapter, as in 9 Pages at most, and was ALWAYS last un TOC (because it wasn't ranked)

Also before taking the pics of my Issue I googled the Issue and the most I could find esa this blog post which random didnt put Jaguar's color Pagés.. probable the user didnt Even know Jaguar ended lol

Also for people talking about Gintama getting cover and color Pagés..
O doubt it Will either get full color chapter por cover, but most likely ir Will get a color Page or two..

Slam Dunk just overthrown Dragón Ball in total sales making it Jump's 2nd best sellers after One Piece and Kochikame is probable never gonna get surpassed as they longest manga, both series defonetly semented not only Wsj but manga and deserved final cover, if Dragón Ball didnt get ir chances are Gintama won't either, though I don't know why I get the feeling Toriyama probable was asked yo draw a cover for DB's last chapter información Jump and he said "I don't wanna, do anothee color Page, top much work!" that's justo my hypothesis hahaha but something that Tori would probably Say? xD

For Gintama in Jump #10 preview : Final arc climax & anime succes! Cover & lead color for celebrate 14th anniversary. So for me will not be last chapter. But I may be wrong.

We need to stop saying "dragon ball didn't get it so neither will Gintama" when Dragon Ball ended well over two decades ago, surely before quite a few of you were even born.
Bring up Naruto if you will, but Jump is a very different magazine than it was when Dragon Ball ended so it feels unfair to use it as an example.

Anyways, it's pretty obvious it's getting the cover for its ending so let's just move on .
